I’m not Catholic. I’m all for using a rosary for prayer. Not the shortened version created, that people use today.
150 beads. 150 Psalms to recite. That is what the priest’s of old did.
I don’t need a crucifix, in fact, I don’t need the beads. They’re just for counting. An aid to concentration/meditation.
Time to memorize Psalms! I know #23 by heart. But that’s the most popular. They cover many topics/subjects. All types of prayers can be found there.

You really need to check why Jesus Christ praised the Church in Ephesus for uncovering the deceit of false preachers…(Saul’s letter to Ephesus)
Saul (aka st. paul) always claimed to be a pharisee “as was my father”
The early Christians didn’t trust Saul and his claim to have been thrown off his horse by a blinding light ( two people there but no witness heard or saw anything)
The pharisees hated Jesus so taking over the fledgling following of Jesus Christ would of been their revenge ( i notice the vatican and Church of England have no problem with Saul and his divide and rule ministry!)
Saul was a liar from the beginning. Trust only Jesus Christs teachings and the words of the real apostles, Matthew, Mark, Luke John, plus Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Hosea, Psalms and Proverbs and use these as your guidance…

As Paul is often misunderstood and his truth feared and twisted by satan’s followers, I will tell YOU one last time in ‘common English’
15 Consider the patience of our Lord to be salvation, just as our dear friend and brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him,
16 speaking of these things in all his letters. Some of his remarks are hard to understand, and people who are ignorant and whose faith is weak twist them to their own destruction, just as they do the other scriptures.
Final instruction
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been warned in advance, be on guard so that you aren’t led off course into the error of sinful people, and lose your own safe position.
18 Instead, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. To him belongs glory now and forever.

Paul tells of his PHYSICAL adherence to the PHYSICAL LAW (PHYSICAL CIRCUMCISION) which set him at advantage over all none circumcised men. Paul was perfection in the PHYSICAL LAW and BLAMELESS in it. Paul tells us all this meant nothing once he ACCEPTED Christ Jesus came to remove the PHYSICAL LAW OF CIRCUMCISION. He tells us to beware the PHYSCIAL CIRCUMCISION (and those that continue to perform it) as the COVENANT was removed by Christ Jesus, Gods people are now marked SPIRITUALLY.
1 So then, my brothers and sisters, be glad in the Lord. It’s no trouble for me to repeat the same things to you because they will help keep you on track.
2 Watch out for the “dogs.” Watch out for people who do evil things. Watch out for those who insist on circumcision, which is really mutilation.
3 We are the circumcision. We are the ones who serve by God’s Spirit and who boast in Christ Jesus. We don’t put our confidence in rituals performed on the body,
4 though I have good reason to have this kind of confidence. If anyone else has reason to put their confidence in physical advantages, I have even more:
5 I was circumcised on the eighth day.
I am from the people of Israel and the tribe of Benjamin.

With respect to observing the Law, I’m a Pharisee.

“Blessed and glorious art thou, O Virgin Mother of God, He whom the whole world cannot contain, enclosed Himself in thy womb, being made man. Happy art thou, O sacred Virgin Mary, and most worthy of all praise because from thee arose the Sun of Justice, Christ our Lord.”
I don’t know if you are still reading old comments, Hugo, but I’m trying. I tried to send you Father Gordon MacRae’s post of today on his blog, “Beyond These Stone Walls” but I was unsuccessful so I have to rely on help from above. Father Gordon is a Catholic Priest innocent of the crime he has been incarcerated for for over 25 years. He is a “scientist” by extreme interest and even as a priest he long thought of the Fatima miracle as “bunk” and writes about it. I hope you will look up the post and read it.

Mary herself would tell you NOT to worship her, but only her Son, our only mediator to God, Jesus Christ.
