I never understood the Olympics, except as a money making venture for the Olympic committee. The host country gets to spend Billions building all the infrastructure and stadiums for it, all the revenue for advertising goes to the Olympic committee, and the host country ALWAYS loses tons of money.
If you dare to register a domain name with the word Olympic in it you’ll have their lawyers on your back within weeks, there used to be a Greek owned Olympic cafe in my home town, they got threatened too, it had been there for years, nothing to do with these blood sucking leeches.
Anyway, so the host country spends billions to put it all together – and for what? To find out who can throw a stick the farthest, or run round in circles the fastest.
When you think about costs of putting it on versus what it’s actually providing, it’s absolutely NUTS.

I saw one of those blue disposable masks on the floor, upside down in a supermarket. The white had turned to an orange/brown colour! They must have been using the same one for months. The amount of bacteria they must have inhaled directly into their lungs must be off the radar. But, it’s to keep us all safe, as the tosspot on the tannoy says, every FIVE MINUTES!!!
