Their narrative; thousands of anti-lockdown protesters on the street; not wearing masks; putting others at risk at a time when Covid is still dangerous and they scuffled with police and police struggled to control them.
While a smaller lawful, socially distanced BLM protest in South London had a small police presence, a BLM mouthpiece said she didn’t agree with the anti-lockdown protest, but thought they had a right to protest.

Just carried out a cursory search and can see coverage in;
Express:
POLICE have moved in to make arrests and disperse anti-lockdown protestors in London today after urging demonstrators to “reconsider protesting and stay home”.
BBC correspondent Marianna Spring, who appears to be reporting from Hyde Park, said;
The anti-lockdown protests are “animated” and a number of people appeared to be angry about restrictions on peaceful protest.
Crowds marched from Hyde Park to Westminster, with at least 13 arrests by police, mostly for Covid breaches.
The Metropolitan Police warned of a “significant policing operation” throughout Saturday – with enforcement including fixed penalty notices and arrests.
Interesting quote from “Sir” Patrick Vallance, who told MPs that protests elsewhere had not resulted in a spike in infections and that outdoor gatherings were safer than indoors, though not risk free.
Sky News correspondent Enda Brady, also in Hyde Park probably hanging out with BBC correspondent Marianna Spring.
She, said about six people were arrested after the police moved in quickly, dispersing between 400 and 500 people who had gathered to hear Mr Piers Corbyn speak. Corbyn, had led the crowd in Hyde Park corner on Saturday lunchtime.
Piers Corbyn posted a video on BrandNewTube about the “Rally for rights Sat 20th March”
Piers Corbyn announces the Let London Live election rally Saturday 20th March 12 noon Speakers Corner, Marble Arch tube, and support for the march from 1pm, location to be announced by the organisers via social medi.
Thank goodness there are still some critical thinkers about. However there is no time to lose if we are to save the country from the asset strippers in power and the sheep who are alowing it all to happen. Next step should be translate this action to local level and get some real demonstrations going in every town and village. The General Strike in 1926 managed to bring the country to a halt. We have all been patient since last March, hoping that common sense would prevail but it didn’t work with Brexit and it’s not happening now. There are enough people around to turn this. It’s what Britain is good at so please, whoever is in charge of these rallies, can we use them as the thin end of the wedge and and take this criminally incompetent government apart.
Protesters March Against Lockdown Restrictions in London
Demonstrators chanted ‘Freedom’ as they marched through central London on Saturday, March 20, to protest coronavirus restrictions. Henry Dukats shared video from Oxford Street showing the crowd marching from Hyde Park.
Murdoch’s Fox News in the US has a bit of a mainstream narrative going on, but at least they’ve covered the story.
The 20/03/2012, London anti-lockdown protest is the largest protest of it’s kind we’ve seen in London since the coronavirus restrictions started.
Thousands of protesters are marching through London in anti-lockdown protests against the coronavirus restrictions. They are angry about the current lockdown which has been in place since January, while protests of this kind are still banned we should see an easing of restrictions in the next few days.
Hundreds of maskless demonstrators marched through the capital to rally against Covid rules, just hours after the Met urged people not to join.
The demonstration marks the one-year anniversary of the first lockdown, with Brits told to stay at home for the first time on March 23 last year.
It comes as the nation eases itself out of the third shutdown, with measures next set to relax from March 29.
And police yesterday urged people not to protest, warning a “significant policing operation” would be in place to deal with flouters.
A statement from the Met read: “Those gathering will be encouraged to return home, if they do not, they face necessary and proportionate enforcement action.
“This could be a fixed penalty notice, or arrest.”
Metro have reported on it. Headline say protestors clash with police. Gotta get the negative connotations in for those numpties who only read the headlines.
The Evening Standard claims that “Covid lockdown protesters hurled bottles at police in ugly clashes in Hyde Park on Saturday amid criticism of the Metropolitan Police’s handling of the Sarah Everard vigil last week.”
I’m not sure about this story, there’s no footage or photos of the “ugly clashes”.
They claim; “Officers were forced to retreat back to their vans, as protesters threw bottles and cans. A group of around one hundred chased police vehicles, punching and kicking them, as they left the area following a day of protests around central London.”
If this had happened, then I would expect to see the BBC & Sky go with that angle. But still not seeing much from them.

Thirty six arrests were made by officers policing the protest gatherings in and around central London today (Saturday, 20 March).
A significant number of officers from across the Met were part of the policing operation, with many re-directed from frontline duties in local communities.
While the large majority of people in attendance caused no trouble, officers did encounter pockets of disorder with crowds throwing bottles and other missiles and a number of officers were assaulted.
I would have gone to London today but I couldn’t afford the train tickets as they were ludicrously expensive from the West Country. I really do support what they were doing today and I hope the numbers swell next time and that the next time is very soon. Haven’t seen Boris for a while either where is he hiding these days? Looked haggard the last time I saw him too. He’s so not running this country. I met him once and my abusive ex Russian husband asked him for a speeded up permanent leave to remain. He lazily just signed the paperwork without looking into his background and now he is working at a major computer services company creating security networks for large companies in the uk….. well done Boris 🙁

Attended this, couldn’t even begin to guess at the amount of us there. Friends from Yorkshire detoured to pick me up at midnight. Saw some arrests done with no rhyme nor reason! Trouble came for large group when police managed to separate them and line of police barricaded them in from both ends and from what we could tell huddled them closer together deliberately to cause distress and short tempers. Old tactic. My friends decided it was time we left. Apart from police! it was great and no one set out to cause trouble. Got home an hour ago 9pm. Going to bed now, tired but happy.
Well done London
It’s true BBC nor Sky news have shown any coverage at all. The lock down agenda share this video. Well done to those there. RESIST

I.e. protesters without masks scuffled with police, dozens arrested.
While a lawful, peaceful BLM protest was held in South London.
