I agree with Hugo that credentials like scholars, pastors, etc have don’t always have to say that much.
One funny thing to is that I got baptized several years ago when I was a young adult. The pastor who baptized me and some others had only read the New Testament. He didn’t think reading the whole Bible with the Old Testament was important and it was apperantely not even a requirement in his education as a pastor.
I don’t know how it works in other countries (I live in Sweden) but to think such a pastor would know what he is talking about when it comes to revelation, prophecies, etc is absurd.
In Virginia, USA it was the practice of an University that all graduating to be preachers/in ministry had to take a oath/perhaps even a signature at final exams before graduation that they, “would not participate, teach, practice, etc. in the ‘gifts of the Holy Ghost’.”

Pope Francis has ordered that the Holy See and connected entities move all financial assets to the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR), commonly known as the Vatican bank.
The pope’s rescript, issued Aug. 23, clarifies the interpretation of a paragraph in the new constitution of the Roman Curia, Praedicate Evangelium, promulgated in March.
According to Francis’ rescript, financial and liquid assets held in banks other than the IOR must be moved to the Vatican bank within 30 days of Sept. 1, 2022.
The IOR, based in Vatican City State, has 110 employees and 14,519 clients. As of 2021, it looked after 5.2 billion euros ($5.6 billion) of client assets.
A Jew by definition is only a Jew in complete righteousness, in The Old Testament this was being circumcised on the 8th day and following all the physical laws.
Christ Jesus removed the physical law of circumcision so a righteous Jew or Gentile could be equal without physical mark and keep themselves clean by keeping The Commandments. The righteous remnant of Jacob (Israel) and the righteous Gentiles grafted together making up The Church of Christ.

Revelation was given to John for things that are yet to come, so this Book is not about confirming that which has already occurred. Therefore, your references to Mary & Jesus’ is not scriptural. I do agree that the Roman Empire was never defeated, but laid dormant, and that we are watching its reawakening possibly in the guise of the EU & the RC Church..
However, the church, under the emblem of a woman, is the mother of believers, and her head a crown of twelve stars; the doctrine of the gospel, preached by the twelve apostles. Represented in pain as the birth of a holy family; desirous that the conviction of sinners might end in their conversion. A dragon is a known emblem of Satan, and his chief agents, or those who govern for him on earth. The attempts of the dragon proved unsuccessful against the church, and fatal to his own interests. The flood of water is to mean the invasions of barbarians & idolatry, by which the western empire was / is overwhelmed (wilderness), in the hope of destroying Christianity. But The Blood of Christ will overcome.
Those who understand the first beast to denote a worldly power, take the second to be also a persecuting and assumed power, which acts under the disguise of religion. It will / is professing to be of Christ, and exercises at first in a gentle manner (hence the first 3.5 years of Tribulation), but will soon speak like the dragon (One World Religion?), where none will enjoy natural or civil rights, who will not worship that beast, but rather will be made a qualification for buying and selling.
Whether true believers will suffer the horrors of the second 3.5 years is the matter debated in you last video.
I agree that there is no 7 year “tribulation” period at the end. That nonsense is clearly nonsense as Daniel’s 70 years would have to be 69 years with the last remaining year thrown into the future (end point) which could NOT be 70 years. It would have to be 7 years PLUS the intervening 2000+ years/. Nonetheless, there are multiple 3.5 year periods directly stated in Revelation. Do they run simultaneously, linearly, or broken up into multiple distinct periods, who knows?

Christ warned his disciples that they would experience “trouble and suffering” as a consequence of following him and living in a fallen world (John 16:33). However, he also warned them of a “great tribulation” which the entire world would experience (Matt 24:21, cf. Rev 3:10). In it, God will judge the unbelieving world (2 Thess 2:11-12, Rev 3:10) and save a people who will worship him during Christ’s millennial kingdom (Zech 14:16, Matt 25:34). As part of that redeemed group, God will purify Israel and bring her to genuine faith in the messiah (Zech 13:8-9, 12:10, Jer 30:7, Rom 11:26-27). In Matthew 24:21-22 (ESV), Christ said this about the tribulation:
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
In Matthew 24:29-30 (ESV), Christ said: Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The tribulation is called the “day of the Lord.”
Especially in the Old Testament, this term is used of when God judges a nation or nations; however, those are just precursors for God’s ultimate judgment of the world in the end times. Zephaniah 1:18 says, “…in the day of the Lord’s angry judgment. The whole earth will be consumed by his fiery wrath. Indeed, he will bring terrifying destruction on all who live on the earth.” Also, Malachi 4:5-6 says,
Look, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord arrives. He will encourage fathers and their children to return to me, so that I will not come and strike the earth with judgment.
The tribulation is called “the hour of testing.” In Revelation 3:10, Christ said: “I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.”
The tribulation is called “Jacob’s trouble.” This terminology is used because God will not only judge the unbelieving world during this period, but also do a special work in Israel, to purify her, and prepare her to accept the messiah (Zech 12:10, 14:3-4). Jeremiah 30:7 says, “Alas, what a terrible time of trouble it is! There has never been any like it. It is a time of trouble for the descendants of Jacob, but some of them will be rescued out of it.” Zechariah 13:8-14:2 says,
It will happen in all the land, says the Lord, that two-thirds of the people in it will be cut off and die, but one-third will be left in it. Then I will bring the remaining third into the fire; I will refine them like silver is refined and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name and I will answer; I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ A day of the Lord is about to come when your possessions will be divided as plunder in your midst. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to wage war; the city will be taken, its houses plundered, and the women raped. Then half of the city will go into exile, but the remainder of the people will not be taken away.
During this period, two-thirds of the Jews living in Israel will die, while one-third of them God will purify through the time of testing. God will judge and purify Israel by bringing the nations of the world against her. Satan and the antichrist will have a role in judging Israel. Revelation 12 describes Satan as a dragon that pursues a woman who gave birth to a son who was taken to heaven. This refers to Satan’s persecution of Israel during the tribulation period; however, they will ultimately be saved. Revelation 12:13-16 says,
Now when the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. But the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, to the place God prepared for her, where she is taken care of—away from the presence of the serpent—for a time, times, and half a time. Then the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to sweep her away by a flood, but the earth came to her rescue; the ground opened up and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.
Michael, the archangel, will have a role in protecting and delivering Israel during this time of tribulation. Daniel 12:1 says,
At that time Michael, the great prince who watches over your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress unlike any other from the nation’s beginning up to that time. But at that time your own people, all those whose names are found written in the book, will escape.
The tribulation is called Daniel’s 70th week. What is Daniel’s 70th week? It comes from Daniel 9:24-27, which is often called “God’s Prophetic Time Clock” and “The Backbone of Bible Prophecy.”1 As background, Daniel was praying about the future of Israel (Dan 9:1-3) when the angel, Gabriel, appeared and shared with Daniel about Israel’s future, including the coming of the messiah. Consider verse 25:
So know and understand: From the issuing of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed one, a prince arrives, there will be a period of seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will again be built, with plaza and moat, but in distressful times.
The angel’s reference to “weeks” could also be translated “sevens,” as in the NIV. This could mean seven days or years.2 Years makes the most sense because the context deals with Israel’s long-term future, including the coming of the messiah, and also because Daniel already had been thinking in terms of years (Israel’s seventy years of exile, Daniel 9:2). The angel Gabriel told Daniel that it would be seven sevens (49) plus sixty-two sevens (434) until the messiah comes. Altogether, that equals 483 years (49 + 434 = 483). From the issuance of the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the messiah, it would be 483 years. Gabriel adds that Jerusalem would be rebuilt in “distressful times.” The book of Nehemiah tells us that while Nehemiah led Israel in rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls, there was much persecution. In one scene, the Israelites did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other (Neh 4:17).
Though Israel was sent back to their land by Cyrus, the issuing of the decree to rebuild Israel was given by King Artaxerxes to Nehemiah in 444 B.C (Neh 2).3 When one takes into account that the Jewish calendar was 360 days and not 365 as ours is today, 483 years later would be 33 AD—right around the time of Christ’s death.4 After the 483 years, the messiah would be killed and “a people” would destroy Jerusalem and the temple (which happened in AD 70). Then, wars would continue in Israel until the end times. After the gap, there would be one final seven-year period—the 70th week of Daniel. At this point in history, the prophetic gap has lasted almost 2000 years.
Are prophetic gaps normal in Scripture? Yes, they are. There is one in Isaiah 9:6. It says: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.” The child being born and the son being given was fulfilled in Christ’s first coming; however, the government resting on his shoulders won’t happen until his second coming. In the first coming, Christ was a prophet, priest, and sacrifice for the sins of the world. In the second coming, he will be a king who judges and rules the earth. Again, there is a prophetic gap of almost 2000 years, so far.
Now, let’s consider the final seven years of Daniel’s prophecy, which describes the tribulation period. Daniel 9:27 (NIV) says:
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
The “he” Daniel refers to is the antichrist—a powerful end-time figure who will be antagonistic toward God and his people. He will make a seven-year covenant with Israel. Since the context is “war will continue to the end” (9:26), this probably refers to some type of peace treaty. But in the middle of the seven years, the antichrist will break that treaty by putting an end to the Jewish sacrificial and offering system. He will also set up an abomination at the temple until he experiences divine judgment. The future antichrist resembles the Syrian King, Antiochus, who did similar things to Israel during the intertestamental period, including putting an idol of Zeus in the temple, as prophesied in Daniel 11:21-35. Christ refers to the abomination, which will be set up in the temple in Matthew 24:15-16, “So when you see the abomination of desolation—spoken about by Daniel the prophet—standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.” This is when the antichrist will unleash an assault specifically on the Jewish people. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Paul refers to this act of the antichrist in the middle of the tribulation period as well.
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Therefore, Daniel’s 70th week is important because it gives the timeline of the tribulation period. It will last seven years. In the middle of the seven years, the antichrist will break his covenant with Israel and put an idol in the Jewish temple. This seven-year time frame or half of it will be referred to several times in the book of Revelation (12:6, 14, 13:5, etc.).
The tribulation is called the seven-sealed book. Revelation 5:1 says, “Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.” In the context of Revelation 5, there is a search for someone worthy to open the seven-sealed book, which contains the tribulation’s judgments. After a thorough search, Christ, the lamb who was slain from the foundations of the earth, is found. Then each seal is opened, leading to successive judgments on the earth. When the seventh seal is opened, it leads to seven trumpets which are further judgments and then seven bowls of wrath which are the final judgments of the tribulation period (cf. Rev 8, 16). These are detailed between Revelation 6-16.
So yes, there is a Tribulation, and believers shall be Raptured away.

While prophetic gaps in EVENTS may be normal in Scriptures, no prophetic gap has ever shown up when a particular time, or amount of time is stated in any time based Scripture.
Specifically, my position is that God gave Daniel’s people 70 weeks to put an end to their transgressions. 69 weeks (rebuilding the temple until Jesus crucifixion) plus 2000 (time between Jesus crucifixion until the “tribulation”) weeks plus one week (length of tribulation) does NOT equal 70 weeks! That time period give to Daniel’s people would equal +- 2070 weeks.
YOUR position never discusses any time period. To say that a child is born and the government will be on his shoulders clearly can not happen at the same time so they would have to be separated in some unknown and unstated time period.

You cannot throw Daniel’s 70th week 2000 years into the future! That breaks the prophesy that Daniel’s people were given 70 weeks to put an end to their transgressions. If you could throw the last week 2000 years into the “end times” then Daniel’s people WOULD have been given 2070 weeks to put an end to their transgressions!

You have hit upon a point of scholarly debate. There is disagreement as to when and who gave this decree. Some reckon it from the decree of Cyrus (reigned from 560 to 530 B.C.) (Ezra 1:1-4), some from the decree of Darius (reigned from 522 to 486 B.C.) (Ezra 6:1-12), and some from the decree of Artaxerxes (reigned from 465 to 424 B.C.) (Ezra 7:11-26). This Darius is different than the Darius of Daniel 5:31. There were a number of Persian kings named Darius.
Remember that this was all about the prophecy of Jeremiah in Jer 25:11-12 and 29:10. But Gabriel’s instruction here is all about the time from the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah. So, Jeremiah’s prophecy had two fulfilments. One was a literal seventy years of captivity until the Jews returned to Jerusalem, and there were also seventy weeks of years from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah.
This verse reveals there would be 69 weeks of years, or 483 years, before the Messiah came. Cyrus died in 530 B.C., so it could not be his decree that is being referred to. However, 483 years from Darius’ or Artaxerxes’ rule till the time of Jesus would work. Darius reigned from 522 to 486 B.C., while Artaxerxes reigned from 465 to 424 B.C.
If you took 483 years from the last year of Darius’s reign, that would come out to 3 B.C., which is the time most scholars believe Jesus was born. If the decree of Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:11-26) was given in the twelfth year of his reign, then 483 years later would be A.D. 30, or the time most scholars believe Jesus was crucified.
Exodus 31:14 and 2 Kings 19:35 with 2 Chronicles 32:21 all reveal that “cut off” is referring to being killed, so this is clearly speaking of the Messiah being killed, not for Himself, but for those He came to save. So, this verse would line up with these 483 years being reckoned from Artaxerxes’ decree, but it doesn’t exclude the possibility that this could be from the decree of Darius.
The wording of this verse just says “after threescore and two weeks.” It doesn’t say “immediately after.” This could therefore still be dated from Darius’ decree.
Many scholars relate this seventieth week of years to the seven-year tribulation period. In order for that to be, the sixty-nine weeks of years would have had to stop at the crucifixion of Jesus, and the seventieth week of years would not resume until the start of the tribulation period.
It is, of cause, a moot point.

Further, John wrote in the first century that they were already in tribulation so therefore the end was near. How can it be that those in the first century were “near” the end, but yet you (many) are looking for a 7 year tribulation right before the “end”?

For me Scripture is an abundant source of satisfaction & relief in God’s promises, and that He’s in control. The total story cannot be denied, IMO, but is best understood looking backward where prophecy can then be seen as fulfilled.
It’s not easy to determine exactly what prophecy means for the future in exact detail as we’d all like, hence the debates. I try not to discount any interpretation & keep an open mind. So some of the more heated discussions are unnecessary; we just need to keep focussed on Christ and His soon coming & deal with what the future brings day by day.

But I can’t find any Biblical Scripture telling us how long Great Tribulation will last.
Especially since the days will be shortened and no-one knows the day or hour.
To me part of Revelation 12 refers to the end days.

Her seed, Christians, was protected for another 3.5 years.
To me this means Tribulation started March 23 2021 with the jab, the control of the First Beast.

If any can show me from the Bible alone where Rome or Islam killed the prophets please let me know. I hate Rome and know she has murdered many. Islam has killed many but is not mystery babylon.

While I agree that most if not all the scriptures you have cited show multiple things, I cannot see how any one of those scriptures show that mystery Babylon is end times Jerusalem. Yes Jerusalem during Jesus time was full of Satan’s seed, pharisees, nonbelievers, etc. but I still don’t see how it is Mystery Babylon.

When has end times Jerusalem “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.”. The Vatican is the top (mother) “Christian” religious and political entity and no “Christian” church (child) has she ever lost. How and where are Jerusalem’s children?
Was Jesus suggesting in verse 4 that the “believing” Jews actually leave “Jerusalem” so as not to partake of her sins?
Was Jesus suggesting in verse 9 that the Kings (rules) of the world have lived “deliciously with her” and if so, how so?
Was Jesus suggesting in verse 11 that no man buyeth Jerusalem’s merchandise and if so tell me what merchandise Jerusalem produces now in the end times.

I am also a “baby” believer (2.5 years now) but I probably read the Bible more than most nonbeliever’s before I finally accepted the Bible as the true word of God. I have been a nondenominational Christian for around 30 years and I’ve always understood Revelation 12 in the way you explain it, from my very first reading (apart from the eagles wings given to Mary, which I thought represents God’s Grace; Exodus 19:4, Isaiah 40:31) without a single doubt since.

it is my understanding that the negev desert has been for sometime cultivated and irrigated changing large swaths into bread baskets. Thanks for your insights and I am in agreement with you. The same thing about the woman being Mary with baby Jesus also crossed my mind awhile ago. I was doubting back then and since then The Holy Spirit had revealed so much more.
I also want to mention that during prayer time the Holy Spirit has shown Rev 21&Rev 22 is within reach now, this time the way it was shown to me was that, at that just moment I could feel the perfect knowledge & understanding of God when the partial is done away because The Perfect has come. I saw us radiating in glory. I perceived that we can be anywhere we want to be in this realm because we live by the Spirit and we are one with God, so based on this, I think that some are already in the mark of the beast, some are in goshen, some just try their best to fulfil prophecy based on their own understanding the bible, etc. The new jerusalem is about those who are circumcised in the hearts & their dna have not been altered, dwelling together with God and these live together in the realm of God, ruling and reigning as kings & priests on earth. I just realised yesterday that the day I saw this vision was 14 July 2023 (7 as the number of completion). Any thoughts?

One funny thing to is that I got baptized several years ago when I was a young adult. The pastor who baptized me and some others had only read the New Testament. He didn’t think reading the whole Bible with the Old Testament was important and it was apperantely not even a requirement in his education as a pastor.
I don’t know how it works in other countries (I live in Sweden) but to think such a pastor would know what he is talking about when it comes to revelation, prophecies, etc is absurd.

In Virginia, USA it was the practice of an University that all graduating to be preachers/in ministry had to take a oath/perhaps even a signature at final exams before graduation that they, “would not participate, teach, practice, etc. in the ‘gifts of the Holy Ghost’.”

Pope Francis has ordered that the Holy See and connected entities move all financial assets to the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR), commonly known as the Vatican bank.
The pope’s rescript, issued Aug. 23, clarifies the interpretation of a paragraph in the new constitution of the Roman Curia, Praedicate Evangelium, promulgated in March.
According to Francis’ rescript, financial and liquid assets held in banks other than the IOR must be moved to the Vatican bank within 30 days of Sept. 1, 2022.

I agree that there is no 7 year “tribulation” period at the end. That nonsense is clearly nonsense as Daniel’s 70 years would have to be 69 years with the last remaining year thrown into the future (end point) which could NOT be 70 years. It would have to be 7 years PLUS the intervening 2000+ years/. Nonetheless, there are multiple 3.5 year periods directly stated in Revelation. Do they run simultaneously, linearly, or broken up into multiple distinct periods, who knows?

Christ warned his disciples that they would experience “trouble and suffering” as a consequence of following him and living in a fallen world (John 16:33). However, he also warned them of a “great tribulation” which the entire world would experience (Matt 24:21, cf. Rev 3:10). In it, God will judge the unbelieving world (2 Thess 2:11-12, Rev 3:10) and save a people who will worship him during Christ’s millennial kingdom (Zech 14:16, Matt 25:34). As part of that redeemed group, God will purify Israel and bring her to genuine faith in the messiah (Zech 13:8-9, 12:10, Jer 30:7, Rom 11:26-27). In Matthew 24:21-22 (ESV), Christ said this about the tribulation:
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
In Matthew 24:29-30 (ESV), Christ said: Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The tribulation is called the “day of the Lord.”

The tribulation is called “the hour of testing.” In Revelation 3:10, Christ said: “I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.”
The tribulation is called “Jacob’s trouble.” This terminology is used because God will not only judge the unbelieving world during this period, but also do a special work in Israel, to purify her, and prepare her to accept the messiah (Zech 12:10, 14:3-4). Jeremiah 30:7 says, “Alas, what a terrible time of trouble it is! There has never been any like it. During this period, two-thirds of the Jews living in Israel will die, while one-third of them God will purify through the time of testing. God will judge and purify Israel by bringing the nations of the world against her. Satan and the antichrist will have a role in judging Israel. Revelation 12 describes Satan as a dragon that pursues a woman who gave birth to a son who was taken to heaven. This refers to Satan’s persecution of Israel during the tribulation period; however, they will ultimately be saved. Revelation 12:13-16 says,

Michael, the archangel, will have a role in protecting and delivering Israel during this time of tribulation. Daniel 12:1 says,
At that time Michael, the great prince who watches over your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress unlike any other from the nation’s beginning up to that time. But at that time your own people, all those whose names are found written in the book, will escape.
The tribulation is called Daniel’s 70th week. What is Daniel’s 70th week? It comes from Daniel 9:24-27, which is often called “God’s Prophetic Time Clock” and “The Backbone of Bible Prophecy.”1 As background, Daniel was praying about the future of Israel (Dan 9:1-3) when the angel, Gabriel, appeared and shared with Daniel about Israel’s future, including the coming of the messiah. Consider verse 25:
So know and understand: From the issuing of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed one, a prince arrives, there will be a period of seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will again be built, with plaza and moat, but in distressful times.
The angel’s reference to “weeks” could also be translated “sevens,” as in the NIV. This could mean seven days or years.2 Years makes the most sense because the context deals with Israel’s long-term future, including the coming of the messiah, and also because Daniel already had been thinking in terms of years (Israel’s seventy years of exile, Daniel 9:2). The angel Gabriel told Daniel that it would be seven sevens (49) plus sixty-two sevens (434) until the messiah comes. Altogether, that equals 483 years (49 + 434 = 483). From the issuance of the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the messiah, it would be 483 years. Gabriel adds that Jerusalem would be rebuilt in “distressful times.” The book of Nehemiah tells us that while Nehemiah led Israel in rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls, there was much persecution. In one scene, the Israelites did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other (Neh 4:17).
Though Israel was sent back to their land by Cyrus, the issuing of the decree to rebuild Israel was given by King Artaxerxes to Nehemiah in 444 B.C (Neh 2).3 When one takes into account that the Jewish calendar was 360 days and not 365 as ours is today, 483 years later would be 33 AD—right around the time of Christ’s death.4 After the 483 years, the messiah would be killed and “a people” would destroy Jerusalem and the temple (which happened in AD 70). Then, wars would continue in Israel until the end times. After the gap, there would be one final seven-year period—the 70th week of Daniel. At this point in history, the prophetic gap has lasted almost 2000 years.
Are prophetic gaps normal in Scripture? Yes, they are. There is one in Isaiah 9:6. It says: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.” The child being born and the son being given was fulfilled in Christ’s first coming; however, the government resting on his shoulders won’t happen until his second coming. In the first coming, Christ was a prophet, priest, and sacrifice for the sins of the world. In the second coming, he will be a king who judges and rules the earth. Again, there is a prophetic gap of almost 2000 years, so far.
Now, let’s consider the final seven years of Daniel’s prophecy, which describes the tribulation period. Daniel 9:27 (NIV) says:
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
The “he” Daniel refers to is the antichrist—a powerful end-time figure who will be antagonistic toward God and his people. He will make a seven-year covenant with Israel. Since the context is “war will continue to the end” (9:26), this probably refers to some type of peace treaty. But in the middle of the seven years, the antichrist will break that treaty by putting an end to the Jewish sacrificial and offering system. He will also set up an abomination at the temple until he experiences divine judgment. The future antichrist resembles the Syrian King, Antiochus, who did similar things to Israel during the intertestamental period, including putting an idol of Zeus in the temple, as prophesied in Daniel 11:21-35. Christ refers to the abomination, which will be set up in the temple in Matthew 24:15-16, “So when you see the abomination of desolation—spoken about by Daniel the prophet—standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.” This is when the antichrist will unleash an assault specifically on the Jewish people. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Paul refers to this act of the antichrist in the middle of the tribulation period as well.
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Therefore, Daniel’s 70th week is important because it gives the timeline of the tribulation period. It will last seven years. In the middle of the seven years, the antichrist will break his covenant with Israel and put an idol in the Jewish temple. This seven-year time frame or half of it will be referred to several times in the book of Revelation (12:6, 14, 13:5, etc.).
The tribulation is called the seven-sealed book. Revelation 5:1 says, “Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.” In the context of Revelation 5, there is a search for someone worthy to open the seven-sealed book, which contains the tribulation’s judgments. After a thorough search, Christ, the lamb who was slain from the foundations of the earth, is found. Then each seal is opened, leading to successive judgments on the earth. When the seventh seal is opened, it leads to seven trumpets which are further judgments and then seven bowls of wrath which are the final judgments of the tribulation period (cf. Rev 8, 16). These are detailed between Revelation 6-16.
So yes, there is a Tribulation, and believers shall be Raptured away.

While prophetic gaps in EVENTS may be normal in Scriptures, no prophetic gap has ever shown up when a particular time, or amount of time is stated in any time based Scripture.
Specifically, my position is that God gave Daniel’s people 70 weeks to put an end to their transgressions. 69 weeks (rebuilding the temple until Jesus crucifixion) plus 2000 (time between Jesus crucifixion until the “tribulation”) weeks plus one week (length of tribulation) does NOT equal 70 weeks! That time period give to Daniel’s people would equal +- 2070 weeks.
YOUR position never discusses any time period. To say that a child is born and the government will be on his shoulders clearly can not happen at the same time so they would have to be separated in some unknown and unstated time period.

You cannot throw Daniel’s 70th week 2000 years into the future! That breaks the prophesy that Daniel’s people were given 70 weeks to put an end to their transgressions. If you could throw the last week 2000 years into the “end times” then Daniel’s people WOULD have been given 2070 weeks to put an end to their transgressions!

You have hit upon a point of scholarly debate. There is disagreement as to when and who gave this decree. Some reckon it from the decree of Cyrus (reigned from 560 to 530 B.C.) (Ezra 1:1-4), some from the decree of Darius (reigned from 522 to 486 B.C.) (Ezra 6:1-12), and some from the decree of Artaxerxes (reigned from 465 to 424 B.C.) (Ezra 7:11-26). This Darius is different than the Darius of Daniel 5:31. There were a number of Persian kings named Darius.
Remember that this was all about the prophecy of Jeremiah in Jer 25:11-12 and 29:10. But Gabriel’s instruction here is all about the time from the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah. So, Jeremiah’s prophecy had two fulfilments. One was a literal seventy years of captivity until the Jews returned to Jerusalem, and there were also seventy weeks of years from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah.
This verse reveals there would be 69 weeks of years, or 483 years, before the Messiah came. Cyrus died in 530 B.C., so it could not be his decree that is being referred to. However, 483 years from Darius’ or Artaxerxes’ rule till the time of Jesus would work. Darius reigned from 522 to 486 B.C., while Artaxerxes reigned from 465 to 424 B.C.
If you took 483 years from the last year of Darius’s reign, that would come out to 3 B.C., which is the time most scholars believe Jesus was born. If the decree of Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:11-26) was given in the twelfth year of his reign, then 483 years later would be A.D. 30, or the time most scholars believe Jesus was crucified.
Exodus 31:14 and 2 Kings 19:35 with 2 Chronicles 32:21 all reveal that “cut off” is referring to being killed, so this is clearly speaking of the Messiah being killed, not for Himself, but for those He came to save. So, this verse would line up with these 483 years being reckoned from Artaxerxes’ decree, but it doesn’t exclude the possibility that this could be from the decree of Darius.
The wording of this verse just says “after threescore and two weeks.” It doesn’t say “immediately after.” This could therefore still be dated from Darius’ decree.
Many scholars relate this seventieth week of years to the seven-year tribulation period. In order for that to be, the sixty-nine weeks of years would have had to stop at the crucifixion of Jesus, and the seventieth week of years would not resume until the start of the tribulation period.
It is, of cause, a moot point.

Further, John wrote in the first century that they were already in tribulation so therefore the end was near. How can it be that those in the first century were “near” the end, but yet you (many) are looking for a 7 year tribulation right before the “end”?
For me Scripture is an abundant source of satisfaction & relief in God’s promises, and that He’s in control. The total story cannot be denied, IMO, but is best understood looking backward where prophecy can then be seen as fulfilled.
It’s not easy to determine exactly what prophecy means for the future in exact detail as we’d all like, hence the debates. I try not to discount any interpretation & keep an open mind. So some of the more heated discussions are unnecessary; we just need to keep focussed on Christ and His soon coming & deal with what the future brings day by day.

While I agree that most if not all the scriptures you have cited show multiple things, I cannot see how any one of those scriptures show that mystery Babylon is end times Jerusalem. When has end times Jerusalem “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.”. The Vatican is the top (mother) “Christian” religious and political entity and no “Christian” church (child) has she ever lost. How and where are Jerusalem’s children?

I have been a nondenominational Christian for around 30 years and I’ve always understood Revelation 12 in the way you explain it, from my very first reading (apart from the eagles wings given to Mary, which I thought represents God’s Grace; Exodus 19:4, Isaiah 40:31) without a single doubt since.
Baby Christian or not, I see the Lord using you Hugo and that is not a small thing (I’m wary of inflating your ego and don’t intend for any compliment to become a snare to you, rather an encouragement). All glory unto our Lord Jesus Christ amen.

Thanks for your insights and I am in agreement with you. The same thing about the woman being Mary with baby Jesus also crossed my mind awhile ago. I was doubting back then and since then The Holy Spirit had revealed so much more.
I also want to mention that during prayer time the Holy Spirit has shown Rev 21&Rev 22 is within reach now, this time the way it was shown to me was that, at that just moment I could feel the perfect knowledge & understanding of God when the partial is done away because The Perfect has come. I saw us radiating in glory. I perceived that we can be anywhere we want to be in this realm because we live by the Spirit and we are one with God, so based on this, I think that some are already in the mark of the beast, some are in goshen, some just try their best to fulfil prophecy based on their own understanding the bible, etc. The new jerusalem is about those who are circumcised in the hearts & their dna have not been altered, dwelling together with God and these live together in the realm of God, ruling and reigning as kings & priests on earth. I just realised yesterday that the day I saw this vision was 14 July 2023 (7 as the number of completion). Any thoughts?
I think that they got the wrong empire, it is not Rome but Islam. Look at the colours of the horses, are the ones used in arab flags.
