I always have a feeling of emptiness after using a smartphone, computer or the internet too much. Everything in phones, internet, ”social media”, etc. are just empty illusions. A fake illusion of reality.
What I’m going to do is ask some friends to translate that sentence and see what they come up with. I think it should have read “as lightning falling from heaven”, but if people think that the meaning was “as lightning doth fall from heaven” and the “doth” has been missed out, for example, then the translations would be correct. I get what you’re saying about electricity being used as a tool of torture by the devil, but electricity itself isn’t evil at all, it may even be all there is.
Why are you asking friends to translate it for you? Read the scripture yourself.
Electricity is the medium that Satan uses to ’cause’ the inhabitants of the earth to worship and follow the beast as stated in Revelation.
Like I said before, not everything online is corrupting and evil, some of it can be edifying. But the vast majority of it, everything viral, trending and popular is only leading one way.
I understand the evil in the media show very well, partly why I listen to you and not them. However, “As lightning fall from heaven” isn’t English, not the English I speak anyway, so the modern interpretations had to do “something”. If my friends make the same “mistake” as the various interpretations do, then I can maybe give them the benefit of the doubt on this occasion.
PS:- I’m agreeing with you BTW, I do think they’re muddying the waters on purpose and someone up there agrees with you too I have just been “told”. It’s still an interesting exercise to see how normal folk would interpret this though. He (whomever this greater entity is) speaks to us all directly, but only if we listen and 99% of people don’t listen, they just assume everything is as we’ve been led to believe it is. An example, I met my best friend this week, he told me about a DIY job he was having done and one day the guy doing the work for him rang him to say his car was knackered, but he’d be back as soon as possible. My friend then explained to me that the guy just vanished into thin air and he hasn’t heard a thing from him in a month. 5 minutes later, the guy rings him up right in front of me. My friend would never see this as anything but coincidence, but it just isn’t not as most people know it anyway – this kind of thing happens to me all the time and I’m absolutely sure that there is some entity out there joining our dots.
Hugo where can I get a copy of KJB that hasn’t been changed? I tried a while ago when you shared about how print companies are changing the bible to their narrative but I could not find anywhere that has a copy before the change. I’m assuming old book shops maybe? 🤔

I see this in other areas; if its not CGI giving fake images it is changing wording slightly to draw people into “fake news/narrative”!
Well ‘ numbers ‘ speaks of keeping the charge 3:37 … it also speaks of sockets , boards , pins , circuits , cords . Put electric in front of them , and you see a picture . Chronicles 2 describes the measurements of the temple . Draw them for yourself on some graph paper your have something looking very similar to a modern 3 pin plug . And then Aaron sons dying from strange fire . And lastly , what exactly was the ‘ ark arc ‘ given to moses …
Personally, I think all has been fullfilled.
What we see today are copies, counterfeits, imaginations of those past times.
We all should take heed of the warning by our Lord Jesus in the last chapter of Revelation.
