i think we deep down sort of long for this to happen. so we can really make a stand. to separate the sheep from the goats. to die for Jesus. we want to be persecuted for our faith. all this luke warm compromise be like the world stuff is soul killing.
Indeed and the two hour video Dr Kary Mullis gave in 93. He was a great man and a humble man. Everyone beyond the age of 12 should listen to what he said. In fact I would make it compulsory.

I’m still not sure there won’t be an individual taking the role of The False Prophet as well, but your theory of the evil mass media filling that role, is only making more and more sense! Its antics in the latest nasty story to blight this world certainly do give a strong hint how it could waylay many or even most people. Which is very sad.
There seems little chance of this test not being very hard. To be worthy of The End and to be fitting of eternity, it probably does have to be hard. I only hope The Lord can extend His mercy, because so many are going to be so easily fooled and led away from the right path. Which doesn’t mean they are bad people, maybe just not strong enough soon enough. The Lord knows best of course what that failure of strength means, but to a mere human it seems extremely harsh and deeply regrettable. Oh, Lord
