Maybe because we are to share the Lord…give HIM Glory, and not ourselves. He must increase, I must decrease. If we meet and you forget me, you have lost nothing. If you meet Jesus Christ and forget Him…YOU HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. So our boasting is in the Lord only. Not ourselves.
That’s so true, Angela. I went out in the desert yesterday, asking the Lord Questions, and “delighting myself in the Lord” with praise songs. Once home, I opened my Bible, and opened to the reply right away! I LOVE how our Lord does that! I was so grateful as it was a pressing matter. But that is IF we open His Word. If I had not had the evening Bible study time, I wouldn’t have received those answers only the Word can give. I was so grateful. Always eager to open his Word and see what He wants to show me. Praying more are doing so, for that is really all the wisdom we need. So, “In quietness and in confidence shall be our strength in the Lord”. Go to your Father in private…Well, I could go on and on, just praying that more are seeking His precious Words of life. And the Word was God. Prayers for blessings that only our Lord can give. OUR GOD REIGNS!

But how long does the present last. A microsecond passes, less than a heartbeat and it is the past. Then the future is upon us. I don’t believe time is a real thing, it is just the rate of change. The past and the future are always with us. The Bible was written in the past, should we ignore it
You question if bible teachings are relevant today? ‘What are the worst problems facing the world today, war, pollution, crime, corruption? Now consider what the Bible teaches. If people lived by the values in the bible, the world would be a better place. Bible values are timeless.

Proverbs 9:10, Matthew 6:26 “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Cram more scripture in! I have 5 other references to scripture that apply! Refreshing to hear scripture references instead of whatever else I hear on TV/The Web.
Though be careful of James 3:1. Steven Bancarz dropped off the map, he’s best kind. He just stopped giving spiritual advice as a young christian.
You’re not “teaching” in the same manner. I have to pull out my Bible, or I want to.

Wow yeah, I can see how this plays a role in Divide and Conquer. The enemy wants us in a state of disconnect where we’re unable to connect with one another. We can only connect when we’re present/ in the present.
Thank you so much for this video Hugo. Amen. I needed to hear this. And it’s true what you are saying about relationship dynamics and how they change once you walk in the light. Spot on. I’ve experienced it with my family and friends, and there are changes which are noticeable. We just got to keep on being gentle and loving and forgiving with them. And yes we need to be focused on the present, on the eternal now.
