  1. “You’re not supposed to privately interpret the Bible” is complete nonsense, exactly the opposite of what one should do… “let no man deceive you by any means” requires it!
Thanks for all the work that you do!

  3. Good video. I was one of them who used to think the antichrist and the motb scenarios could be happening. As Hugo points out though, through scripture, it is most likely another matter.

In Exodus 13:9 and Deuteronomy 6:8 for example, it expains that we should have God’s laws on our hands and foreheads. The foreheads is our minds and the hands represents our actions. Not by binding a little hat and scriptures on the forehead and arms like some jews do for example. It comes down to our thoughts and actions. Are those serving God or yourself?
David says in Psalms 119:11 that he kept God’s commands in his heart so he would not sin.
In Revelation 7:3 it says that God marks His own in their foreheads.

I doubt there will be a global mass motb tattoo campaign that some youtubers proclaim. Basically get the mark tattooed on you or die, they say.
A nice Hollywood scenario but probably not true.

    God bless Hugo and all

  5. In the original Greek text the word EPI ἐπὶ is used. Number 1909 in the Strongs and it translates as ON, upon
Usage: on, to, against, on the basis of, at.
This is the word the KJV bible has translated as IN or μέσα in the Greek.
    So who has it wrong?

      • Strongs’ or no Strongs’, if you’re referring to Revelation 13:16?

‘And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:’

Compare this verse to Revelation 20:4

‘And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them : and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands ; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.’

Both of these verses are from the King James Bible.
        Did you spot the difference?

One verse states ‘IN their foreheads’ the other states ‘UPON their foreheads’.

Upon gives the impression that it is placed on the surface and not within does it not?

      • For something to go inside, it would need to travel from the outside first before going inside, there would be a moment where it would break through, whether that is a physical object or a non physical thought or an idea.
Rev 20 4 is talking about those who had never received the mark at all, as it says ‘neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands’ it says upon, I would imagine, it uses upon, because it never even scratched the surface or made contact in the first place.

When one looks Revelation one needs to realize that this book was put into effect the moment Jesus Christ died on that cross. The mark of the beast has been implemented throughout history. Wars, plagues, famines, martyrdom has happened since Christ died. Jerusalems destruction was in AD 70 which is according to prophecy in Daniel. We are at the end and instead of believers looking for the Antichrist we should be focusing with great joy the coming of Jesus and us being with Him forever. I see so many believers focusing on the “doom and gloom” – I am so excited to see Christs coming!

    • John 16:7 onwards

‘Nevertheless I tell you the truth ; It is expedient for you that I go away : for if I go not away, the Comfortor will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more ; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.’

The above scripture informs us that it is SIN not to believe in Jesus!
This is the Antichrist spirit that Jesus is referring to here and has been at work in the world since he was here in the flesh.
Therefore; IF the ‘mark of the beast’ is a spiritual reference to the falling away of previous believers who ‘fell away’ from Jesus, of which there were many during his time upon the Earth; why wait until a single moment in time to ‘mark’ all people as Revelation 13 describes?

If what you’re saying is correct then People have been receiving that ‘mark’ since Jesus started his teaching. That’s contrary to what Revelation states. That ‘Testimony of Jesus’ was written AFTER Jesus had ascended and pertained to things ‘YET TO COME’.

So are you saying that the ‘mark of the beast’ is only found within those that turned away from Jesus from a certain point in our history Hugo?

      • @Straightlight; In Revelation 20 it says that everyone, even those in the graves, will be summoned and judged.
If there is a particular point in time where it is counted from I don’t know but it seems to include everyone who have ever lived.

        God bless

    • Faith, thank you for your interesting reply.

I too am excited to see Jesus Christ return to us, in fact I’m desperate for him to return, because when he returns he will rule us as we are meant to be ruled; in righteousness and justice because :

Isaiah 9:6-7 ‘the government shall be upon HIS shoulder’ & ‘Of the increase of HIS government and peace there shall be no end’

Jesus himself told us what signs to look for toward his coming and the book of Revelation expounds upon that even more.

Isaiah 53:3 Tells us that he was ‘a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief’ and when we read Revelation it’s full of awe inspiring visions of how amazing King Jesus really is and what great hope we have looking forward to ‘a new heaven and a new earth’ but in order for us (mankind) to reach that goal we have to face what’s written in Revelation in order for a division to take place and that’s a hard read, hard but true.
In my mind, people that choose not to look into the depths of Revelation because “it’s too full of doom and gloom” are missing out on knowing a huge aspect of Jesus himself because it states in Revelation 1:3

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Do you believe that we are already living in the new heaven and the new earth? Has Jesus already returned? If so, I must have missed him and maybe that’s where I’ve gone wrong.

As for the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem; if we read Matthew 24:1-2

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple : and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

‘There shall not be left one stone upon another’

Do you realise that the western wall to that very temple still stands to this day?

So my question is : Did Jesus get that statement wrong?
Of course not, he is God!

Has there been a misinterpretation of scripture here and he didn’t really say ‘There shall not be left here one stone upon another’?
Not very likely because it is written the same way in Mark 13:2 and also in Luke 21:6.

Did the Roman in charge of demolishing The temple say “Leave that part of the temple intact, just to make the words of Jesus untrue”?
A possibility but again would God have really allowed that?

Is the western wall actually the western wall of that temple?
I can’t fully answer that but it is reputed to be, otherwise why would so many Jews ‘wail’ there?

I can only conclude that that destruction has not finished yet there is more to come. So has the prophecy of Daniel been concluded yet?

  7. I too believe the Anti Christ, is a belief or an attitude; that Jesus is not the Christ. The film industry have probably promoted and encouraged the belief that the antichrist is a specific person because 1. It makes ‘exciting ‘ movies. 2. It makes them alot of money, and 3. (1 & 2are their incentive) for doing Satan’s will in completely misleading the masses, into going off on the wrong track. As with all accomplished deceivers (which Satan is), …to completely blind us to the true meaning of antichrist. Therefore people won’t see it coming. They’ll be looking for a person rather than an attitude.

  8. Thanks for your very enlightening talk – I had not heard about King Solomon’s wealth and the connection with the number of a man – 666. Jesus warned against knowing the letter of the law as opposed to the spirit of the law and when the time of judgement comes, some will be shocked to hear Jesus say, as He has warned, “I never knew you”,

  9. Hey Hugo. Do have an opinion on all of these celebrities and influences suddenly coming to God/Christ? Russell Brand for example… I’m skeptical myself and believe they are pushing people towards a false hippy Jesus. These certain celebs and influences aways seem to mix in the same circles and say things in uniformity. I hope I’m wrong and they do leave their fame status behind for Christ.

    • Yes, watch a certain few of Brands so called in favour of Christianity videos. Look carefully and you can see thee is an Indian deity figurine on his shelf. Not sure of the name it, but it’s certainly not Christian. I think you’re right.

    • Yes they will do this, and it will become more prevalent, as time ticks on, more people will innately yearn for the Lord, as God has put a yearning in our hearts. So those influencers/actors placed in pivotal and popular positions will suddenly play the part of ‘I’ve found God or I now all of a sudden follow Jesus’ in order to take control and influence that ever growing audience, demographic and its narrative.
I presume these ‘actors for hire’ and media assets are doing this is for the same reasons they are paid to do things now and in the past. That is to deceive, delude misinform and mislead.
