What is really sad is they are doping up our seniors so heavily, they truly have no idea of what is going on. Not that they could defend themselves anyway. My own father is trapped in one of these senior asylums, and sadly there is nothing I can do to help him. They won’t even let me visit him!

I did respite some time ago and they were just dosing them up on liquid opiates. They site pin eyed in from t of the TV all day barely moving. Keep em quiet, make some money and wait for them to die.
The you’d watch them return from the GP with a carried back of drugs and you’d watch them deteriorate further. Have a fall, go to hospital, bag of drug, 3mths later unrecognisable.
I was a kid that was around before these homes became the norm. We’d go to see even the most remote relatives. I was horrified when they started almost force farming us to put them in these holes.
Again, you watch them go down hill and they’d be gone much sooner than expected. That’s studied today, lucky to survive 3yr, 5 if they let them bring familiar things.
Then they drug em up and slow kill, blaming conditions rather than the multiple drugs and the drugs for the side effects and ever on.
My mother was in this position, barley able to stand, we gradually reduced the drugs and she is self sufficient going to 3 exercise classes a week now. They were overdosing her and caused osteoporosis and fibromyalgia.
During COVID she hurt herself and needed hospital care. Instead of letting them discharge her to a home. I drove 250 miles and picked her up and stayed 3mths. I am pretty sure I never have seen her again if I’d chosen to let them do this. She has lung scarring and I was scared she’d get the bug and not survive a vent
I think Ms Rantzen has always been vulnerable to the blandishments of the medical profession and would agree to anything they would ask of her.
What has been noticeable over the years is that we seldom mention palliative care anymore in favour of suicide. Why should anyone request palliative care to diminish pain and aim for a dignified and compassionate passing when they could ask for a mechanistic dispatch thus saving the wealthy time and money and set a precedent for a warp speed system to eliminate the unwanted?

1. There is a financial incentive to one’s ‘nearest & dearest’ with local assisted suicide; involving passage of assets (including some work pensions) now increasingly tax free in the UK
2. In Quebec people with neurodegenerative disease (like Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s) can (and will be) advised on access to assisted suicide by their doctors, including at diagnosis, without equivalent discussions on palliative care. Remember UK legislation on this topic is imminent (hence interventions by Esther Rantzen et.al.)
3. For those of us oldies who took the Hippocratic oath, wilful assistance in suicide is a clear no. Most Doctors don’t now take the Hippocratic oath (which I think includes strike action because of the risk of death to one’s patients; just my opinion).

Why is it people are surprised and indignant GOD wants nothing to do with them when they say they don’t believe in GOD? They seem so upset GOD does not do exactly what they want, why should GOD do anything for you when all you can do in ignorance is scoff?

Ester Ranzen was a big mouth evening magazine show host in 70’s. It was called ‘That’s life’ and was a mixed bag of some serious and some comedy items. Quite popular in its time. But now we would see through a lot of it. Nothing she has ever done qualifys her to open her privileged big mouth to push her agenda. She was good pals with Saville and other peados. I read she was involved with kids charities that were pretty dodgy. Horrible woman. She would snear at Christ’s teachings, being a jewess. (Her progative).

Please try and seek some legal help to rescue your father. He may deeply wish you to rescue him.
