First of all I will state where I stand, I do not celebrate X Mass because once I understood what the feast is and where it comes from I could not continue and defiantly would not lead my children into it. Even if I wanted to celebrate the birth date of Christ Jesus I do not believe Christ Would want me to perform it as some bacchanalian orgy of wine, gluttony or debauchery.
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jeremiah 10, 2-5
It is an accepted fact that December the 25th is a pagan festival and the more you research it the worse it gets. I spent some years searching into the dark areas of satanism, and I can tell you the original vile form of this celebration is still practiced today. Of course they convince the masses to celebrated it in a milder form, replacing the true meat with a spiritual substitute but it is still the same worship.
I will add a cautionary note here about the problems of trying to gain knowledge of things not required for salvation and the possibility for corruption through it.
I think many people look into things for the wrong reasons, they are searching for confirmation, for evidence, for the conviction they need to carry on following GOD. This attitude is completely wrong and can rob you of that thing that GOD tells you is the real test of a man or woman, true faith. Faith when everything seems to be against you, faith when others mock you or ask you to prove GOD exists. We can not let ourselves be seduced by satan into trying to prove something to others or especially ourselves, because that is completely opposite from what GOD demands of us. Faith without proof.
18 The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are being destroyed. But it is the power of God for those of us who are being saved. 19 It is written in scripture: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will reject the intelligence of the intelligent.[a] 20 Where are the wise? Where are the legal experts? Where are today’s debaters? Hasn’t God made the wisdom of the world foolish? 21 In God’s wisdom, he determined that the world wouldn’t come to know him through its wisdom. Instead, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of preaching. 22 Jews ask for signs, and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, which is a scandal to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles. 24 But to those who are called—both Jews and Greeks—Christ is God’s power and God’s wisdom. 25 This is because the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians 1, 18-25
The truth is Christ Jesus’s birth date and death date are not required to enable our salvation and even knowing them can corrupt some people into creating idols or celebrations that are wrong. If we are to remain grounded in GOD we must always keep our feet firmly planted on the rock of Christ Jesus. Firm in our understanding of what is required of us without getting distracted down dark alleys. If we can truly say this then GOD will allow us to learn more without the risk of it distracting us from our faith.
All being said it is indeed possible to work out closer dates of Christ Jesus’s birth and death and in understanding this GOD has revealed some interesting things to me.
Christ Jesus started his ministry at 30 years of age book of Luke 3
Three and a half years later
Christ Jesus killed at 33 and a half years of age (abomination and desolation)
Three and a half years later
The end of the entitlement of circumcised Jews, those Jews still circumcising their children were allowed a further three and half years after the death of Christ to accept him as their Messiah and stop the physically circumcising their children. (tribulation)
Three and a half + three and a half = seven years as in the beginning so in the end “I am the alpha and the omega” the more you understand about GOD’s word the more amazing The Word is.
This is amazing, the way the prophecies repeat themselves over and over in GOD’s word, The Bible can not be corrupted because it is self proving and can be cross referenced throughout.
Christ Jesus born 15th Tishri (Roman Wednesday 24th September 3bc) Herod Antipas Christ Jesus’ ministry started 15th Tishri (Roman Saturday 11th October 27ad) aged 30 years Luke 3 Christ Jesus killed 14th Nisan (Roman Wednesday 25th April 31ad) aged 33 and a half years.

‘According to Bible commentator Adam Clarke, it was traditional for the Jews to send their sheep to pasture from the spring until early October. As the cold winter months began, the flocks would return from the fields for protection and warmth. Since the shepherds were still tending their flocks in the fields around Bethlehem it can be deduced that the angels announced the news of Jesus’ birth no later than October.
To determine the approximate month of Jesus’ birth, we can look at the birth of John the Baptist as described in Luke 1. Zacharias, who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth, who was barren, became pregnant with John the Baptist after Zacharias’ temple service. Gabriel visited Mary when Elizabeth was six months pregnant and announced that she would give birth to Jesus. By counting from the date of Zacharias’ priestly service to the birth of Jesus, we can find additional clues to answer the question of when Jesus was really born.
In those times, Jewish priests were divided into 24 courses that served in the temple throughout the year. The order of Abijah was the eighth priestly course (1 Chronicles 24:6-19) which served in the temple during the 10th week of the priestly cycle. The 10th week started on the second Sabbath in the month of Sivan, which falls approximately from mid-May to mid-June. After Zechariah returned from his priestly duties, Elizabeth became pregnant with John the Baptist.
Luke 1:24-28, 31 chronicles these events, “Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, ‘Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.’ Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, ‘Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!’…And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”
Based on the Bible text and knowledge of the priestly courses, we can estimate that Jesus was born around the time of Tishri, which falls in mid to late September. This approximation is reached by starting at the conception of John the Baptist, which occurred in Sivan (June). Then, we count forward six months to arrive at Gabriel’s announcement of the conception of Jesus, which happened in Kislev (December). Finally, we count forward nine more months, which is the average time it takes for human gestation, to reach Tishri (September) when Jesus was born.’
