The Hydrotherapy is Good, But Not on the way on which Vim Hof is promoting – with no moving . Because, the body Must Move (or swim) when it’s in the Cold water . Otherwise it can get Unhealthy. Because just breathing is Not enough. Peace with you, until the Second Arrival.
Cold Water immersion is a nonsense, snake oil.
The life is in the blood, the cold, restricts your blood flow, the cold, constricts your blood vessels restricting the flow of blood in your body, restricting the flow of blood.
The continual circulation of blood through your body keeps you alive. Why would you ever want to constrict and restrict what keeps you alive? Its amazing what people can be influenced to do.
Some people will say that cold makes you stronger, makes you endure etc, and that Jesus fasted in the the desert for 40 days because it tested him etc and how this is similar
No it is not.
Jesus’ own words reveal that the purpose of His fasting was to draw near to God for help. To help him against the temptation of satan. He wasn’t doing it to get a feeling of ‘zing’ in the morning.
He chose to fast that way because he had faith in His father.
People do the Wim Hof method or any cold immersion because they believe it will make them stronger, They do it for themselves it is them that want to feel good so its all about SELF WORSHIP about making them feel good.
All New Age snake-oil is sold to people with the illusion that it will make them feel better or stronger. This is not some form of selfless act.
Secondly The Wim Hof method is pseudoscience, as it states here

The philosophy behind experience will make you stronger doesn’t equate in this situation.
Lets take the reverse, lets look at extreme hot as opposed to cold.
Quite simply a burn victims skin once healed is stronger than ordinary skin.
Does this mean you should be setting yourself on fire to strengthen your skin?
So the same goes with the cold, only difference is you can’t see the damage its doing to you.
Hi Steve, you can always unfollow. Hugo humbly shares faith from his heart, loves our Lord Jesus and follows scripture which is the holy Word of God. He’s no idol to worship and is not building an altar for himself. All glory belongs to the Father. Hugo wants people to wake up and think for themselves. He is a well of hope in a vast desert of evil. He aims to shed God’s light, that we might find our own way according to God’s word and be saved.

Hugo is a gifted teacher who edifies the Body of Christ and resonates with the word of God through the Holy Spirit. Listen and learn from him and others like him, however do not follow any fallible man. All men are fallible sinners.

If you’ve got the Holy Spirit, you’d have no doubt who’s true and who’s false!
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
Hugo does not ask you or anybody to follow him or trust in him unlike the false prophets, he merely tries to urge you to seek God and not to trust deceivers. Though there are things he says sometimes which I might not agree with, I have no doubt in his honesty and good intentions.

I have a lot of time for Hugo, but I have lots of questions and I do not just accept stuff by anyone….Let me ask another question….Why have we never seen Hugo???
I don’t think Hugo tells us to ‘do stuff’, of his OWN, words. He merely passes on Jesus and the gospels words in a contemporary way that people alive today, can relate to. . Don’t forget Jesus said ” a good tree bears good fruit”. You will know a tree by its fruit. I have been listening to Hugo for several years now, and observed his transformation to a born again Christian. I have never once heard him advocate, violence, hate, persecution, or to in anyway go against God. So, if its a case that you don’t like the message, don’t shoot the messenger!
So what if we’ve never seen him? What difference would that make? We’ve never seen you either! You’ve never seen me or anyone else on here..so what?. Would you trust him more if you saw his face? Why?. Just because someone dosen’t want their face plastered all over the Internet doesn’t mean they are false/disingenuous/ fake or have anything to hide!.
