We are called to engage in the political process.
This is shown throughout scripture.
Joseph and Mary for instance were engaging in a census of the people, it was unlawful not to do so. There are countless other examples where the LORD can use us to speak truth to the power of man.
I voted I DO NOT CONSENT, a legitimate vote that is not for any party, it is counted and expresses my dissent to the current administration.
The LORD controls all nations and leaders but HE will not help us if we sit and do nothing.
This is true in all aspects of life, not just politics.
The LORD makes change through us, for HIS glory. Amen

If the Government force you or mandate voting that is one thing, but when you have a choice, when you can willingly avoid it and not be part of it that is another.
Scripture calls our Holy God the”father to the fatherless” and a “defender of widows” (Psalm 68:5). God helps those who can’t help themselves. He is a provider for the poor and a defender of the disadvantaged.
“God helps those who help themselves” topped a poll as one of the most widely known Bible verses. The only problem is, it’s not a Bible verse.
Strange that? I wonder how so many people were fooled into believing that was a verse, and why?
You could see that made up verse used to encourage to vote.
‘Sitting around and doing nothing’ is definitely still counted. There is a list of parishioners who are ‘ticked off’ the list as they attend each polling station throughout the country, so a ‘no show’ says the same thing as ‘I do not consent’ in my opinion. Why even play their game in the first place? As Hugo said : ‘you have a choice’ and ‘you can willingly avoid it’.
We CAN and SHOULD pray however. God hears our vote for him to be our king through our hearts.
Both 1 Samuel chapter 8 and Acts chapter 4 (especially verse 32) give us witness of how God wants to rule over us and NOT ANY MAN.
There is another way (which is THE WAY) for us believers to be governed here on Earth but we need to all be of ‘one heart and one soul’ in order for that to be accomplished.
I don’t vote for the puppets- by my not voting I am actively disengaging from the system. I pray to God, through Jesus Christ our saviour..

views. I voted for my local Reform UK candidate as he is a Christian and I know him personally but I can see how voting in a world system can draw people into the “you are gods” type of thinking. I feel that in times of ever increasing deception that it is vital to stay close to Jesus in every way possible. Keep up the good work. 🙂
