  2. Amen Hugo!

We are here to be cleansed by the washing of water with the Word:

Ephesians 5:25-27  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;  (26)  that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,  (27)  that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

  3. All I know is that without understanding baptism and belief is nothing. The real faith comes with inner realization!
I was baptized as an infant (at least that’s what my parents told me), I wouldn’t have known, if I weren’t told- that about sums it all up! I knew almost nothing about God until I started reading the Bible in my early teens and though I was aware that I was baptized at that time, the baptism still meant nothing, because I looked at everything through secular perspective.
I kept reading the Bible through the years and though it kept me thinking I was never a believer, so the baptism still meant nothing. Only recently, over the past 4-5 years things somehow changed and that has nothing to do with the ritual of water baptism, I simply started to understand… couldn’t even become a believer, I just know:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Thanks for all your work, be blessed!

  4. i got sprinkle baptised around age 11 but no one ever told me i was a sinner who needed to be saved by believing in Jesus’s dying on the cross for my sins, so when i got saved the Holy Spirit made known to me thru the word of God that i needed to be dunked baptised. then as i read the bible over and over i do see baptism used as a verb of sorts here and there too, sure. and Israel is God’s chosed people in the land He gave to them, not by man or a man made thing it is of God. I never gave two hoots about Israel til I got saved then i just loved them so much in my new born again heart. Jesus loves Isreal soooo much. anyone who talks bad about them can’t really know Jesus very well. it’s such an amazing thing that in our day Israel is in the land, we will probably be raptured soon. praise the LORD!!!!!

  5. Amen. One of the biggest truths the Holy Spirit has shown me is the church of today are synagogues and once I stopped relying upon the pastors to interpret and allowed His Holy Ghost to interpret I began to understand. Water baptism is just like so many other traditions from synagogues. People, followers of Christ will not truly see until they come out of “her”.
