I have been asking why we refer to our creator as God which is a man made title and not by our creators name which is YHWH (Yahuah) and we address him as God on a Sunday which is a pagan day and I am sure you know that the pagan God is Zues the overall God of all pagan Gods and is known as the Sun God ? If we are going to attend church and pray to the one and only creator should we not mention his true name Yahuah for instance Our Father Yahuah or Our God Yahuah because if we are only saying God , which God are we praying to ? Why do they not refer to God more so by his name in the bible because as we know it has been re written a number of times . Same goes for Jesus which is a man made name but he is known as Yahushua (Yehoshua) which mean the Lord is salvation ? The name Jesus could be interpreted as Je(zues) the same pronounciation as the footballer who plays for Arsenal ? When you read the bible it states narrow is the gate and few shall ener and also states they will know me by my name which brings me back to Lord and God which are both titles and not names ? I hope you get where I am coming from ! May our God Yahuah bless you through the blood of his only begotten son our savior and shepherd Yashuah ! Food for thought
Respectfully declare that you are wrong on all counts. Jesus is not a derivative of zues – you’ve fallen for a lie. And the tetragamaton is fully pronounced as YeHoVah.
Your reply lacks any exvidence or explanation. With regard to names in the scriptures, the evidence of the hundreds of names given to us by inspiration of The Most High, reveals that names have meaning. Usually they reveal character. You can research, in very little time, what the names of the prophets, kings, servants of YYUH and disciples mean in their Hebrew language. Our English scriptures GENERALLY attempt to transliterate the names throughout the scriptures so as to replicate the recognizable sound of a person’s name and allowing for the meaning in the Hebrew to be brought forth. Ex: Yehetzq’el is a decent transliteration of the prophet, and the most modern transliteration that appears in our scriptures is Ezekiel. (Not so great but close.) This Hebrew name carries the meaning “Elohim Strengthens.” The name Jesus is not a good transliteration and does not allow for the Hebrew name of our Messiah to be brought forth. Why? It is not impossible to represent the Messiah’s Hebrew name with an accurate English spelling and pronunciation. Would He want us to know His true name, since it is the name that is above all names, it is the name we are to call upon, and His name actually contains His Father’s name within it? If all the names in the scriptures, why is His name massacred?
Side note, there is no “beyt” in YHWH. The “beyt” which can be seen in the name aBraham (see the capital B?) is the only letter in the Hebrew alphabet that varies between the “B” sound and the “V” sound. There is no “beyt” in the Tetragrammaton. Look in the interlinear for both Abraham (sometimes pronounced Avraham by modern scholars) and compare it to YHWH. YHUH or YHWH? Either is accurate representation to transliterate and pronounce the name of the Most High: YaHUaH or YaHuWaH or good transliterations. But the W or “waw” never makes the claimed “vav” sound. That is modern Hebrew problem. The discrepancy with regard to the third letter in the Tetragrammaton is due to that letter represented as a “uu” sounding like moon but from Latin times being printed with Latin letters “vv” since the letter v in Latin represents the u sound. Two v’s next to each other represent two u’s next to each other in Latin script, and make the “uu” sound as in moon. Check it out.
Yes, names have meaning. That’s why we pray to God IN THE NAME OF JESUS, our only mediator to God almighty. The angel told John to name Him Jesus. And there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved. And Emmanuel, meaning GOD WITH US. Just sharing scriptures. Acts 3:19-21 says: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send JESUS CHRIST, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heavens must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Our Messiah was born to Hebrew speaking parents. There is no lHebrew letter representing the letter “J” in Hebrew. It is not a sound used in Hebrew language. The J we see throughout the English translation of the scriptures was never uttered by theIsraelites. So our word Jerusalem, Judah, Joseph, John, etc were not spoken by the people during the time when our Messiah was here 2,000 years ago. The letter J and the sound we currently associate with it did not come into use until 1,500 AD. J is not a phonetically sound used by any Hebrew speaker from antiquity. Therefore, Mary (Miriam) would not have spoken the word Jeezus.
@John
I’m no scholar, or expert. I thought YHVH was pronounced YaH-VeH
(YaH is easy, The VeH sounding more like the word “Way” with English pronunciation, But has more of a V sound. It’s more of a Y than H, in English, I thought!)
It’s definitely not Zeus. The whole German, J letter, in Jesus roots and hooey, is a deception, certainly.
People debate “Yeshua”… I don’t address God in this way, no issue then!
I pray to the Father. As Christ told us for “The Lord’s Prayer.” Matthew 6:9-13
Then in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Christ is our advocate, so I pray to the Father through Him. Though they are one.
Anyway, for the longest time Bibles say/said “LORD” when the word was Elohim, or YHVH or other words which don’t mean the same thing. But most often Bible translators correctly made the lower case elohim into “Angels.” Because that’s what it means in that context.
Illiterate people come to Christ and show the fruit! It’s important, but also not the gospel.
Hugo,
I wish we could meet face to face and have a proper conversation, not a one sided semi-communication that is happening here, where you broadcast your opinions and delete or ignore whatever you wish.
I’ll repeat it again, I’m not your enemy and I do not wish to discredit you or troll you, yet on few occasions my comments have been erased without any sort of response…
I largely agree with you and I think you are on the right path, but there are things I wish you’d consider again before asserting things.
Let me put out few questions:
1. Have you ever held in hand an original copy of KJV?
2. How many books did the original KJV had in it and how many of them are to be found in the “authorized” modern day versions?
3. What is ‘authorized’ and who is doing the authorization?
4. Do you think the mass press had no impact on the KJV or whatever has been presented as KJV now?
5. Why we have no open access to any original manuscripts? With modern technology they could have easily scanned the manuscripts and published them for anyone willing to examine and read them.
I do agree that KJV is more trustworthy then the rest of the English versions I’ve seen, but I found numerous examples of suspicious rendition of verses when compared with older texts.
I hope the Holy Spirit guides you and be with you!
From all your songs, the last one is the one I like the most.
1.Original KJV’s are 40Lbs and are huge books. I have one from 1879… But it’s just a regular bible. It’s just an antique on the shelf now.
2. I believe the original KJV and Geneva had the Apocrypha. 72 now 66. 1500-1700 AD… It was before the dead sea scrolls. There wasn’t much of that Enoch or Thomas stuff.
3. Ecumenical counsels which are fallible, the Chinese printers or the nelson/zondervan or whoever is the publisher. (Still waiting for the proper red sea crossing route map. From Nuweibaa beach through the Gulf of Aqaba to Jebel al lawz area.)
4. Can’t speak for Hugo. But after reading 5 different translations. Old and new books. 1879… There are no big discrepancies. Except parts of the MT and the LXX. New testament is solid.
5. There is limited access.. Honestly. What are you going to do with a xerox, of a fragment of dead sea scrolls. It doesn’t even have the full text. Do you really want to learn ancient languages, rebuild the scrolls yourself or can you have a little faith? 🙂
You can find many pictures of the scrolls. We could have a 30 000 image collection of the fragments.
I understand. The gospel is the crux of Christianity.
Good thing you know exactly what God wants Hugo … because without you, I for one, would have no idea what he … she … he/she or …. something else entirely, wants … just saying 🙂
Why? Because you all were deeply brainwashed!
The KJV bible was edited by rosicrucian and freemason Francis Bacon, at request of also rosicrucian and freemason King James I… son of the most evil english queen in history: Elizabeth I, the one who inaugurated 300 years of anglican dictatorship.
many said and I believe that Francis bacon was Elizabeth I’s son, only he wanted nothing to do with the royals; some even say he was the real Shakespear… a name coming from a rosicrucian ritual where the spear that hounded Jesus’ side had to be ‘shaken’!
Plus it’s another protestant bible where books were removed and the word ‘alone’ added to Romans 1, disobeying what’s recorded in Rev 22:18-19!!!
Yes, the King James Bible is a one of a kind. I think God knew they immediately would corrupt the word of God , and God preserved his word because of manuscripts that were used in the KJV. All the other sub versions take out so much verses about Jesus’ diety, and about His blood shed for us. Thank you dear Lord for giving us your story.
I agree, Anna, thank you Lord, for giving us your wonderful Words of Life. And what version is attacked more than any?! Why the one that is most truthful and preserved. The King James. They want us reading the modern copyrighted versions. Here’s the reason. You cannot obtain a copyright unless a certain percentage of words are changed, I forget the number. So ALL COPYRIGHTED versions of the Bible are changed. and they make a LOT of $$ on them, and lead MANY astray by all the omissions and additions. I am glad I found out the truth, and Hugo is sharing this most important and needed information. One scripture calls the Bible, the image of God..and the Word was God. Well, the devil has been making false versions, as HIS image; the bottomless pit of lies from the biggest liar of all time. Removing the deity of Jesus and much more. All lying books and “religions”. All you need is a personal relationship with Jesus, trust, faith, and belief and gratefulness for what He’s done to redeem us, IF WE BELIEVE. Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe! Blessings Anna. Glad to be a part of the family of God…and able to share this way. And more can seek the Lord while there is still time.
A scripture immediately came to mind when you mentioned parts missing. In the parable of the wheat and the tares…Jesus said “an enemy has done this”. false words and false books plant seeds of doubt. Yes, the enemy trying to take the place of our Lord in hearts and minds. Resist him and he will flee. I love reading God’s Word out loud…because his Word is as a fire, and as a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Also Jesus said: Ye are my disciples, IF you continue in my Word. What a promise. What a Savior!
just pray and ask Jesus to save you, believe in your heart….He will do the rest. He already has! He has proven He loves us and wants every person to be saved. He is good and His mercy endures forever. It’s not too complex. People make it harder bc they don’t wanna repent of their sins. Read your Bible instead of fuss over it all the time. Read it every day. It’s work, I know, but it’s worth it.
Spot on Hugo. The word of God is preserved in the KJV. The devil & his people hate God’s word. The KJB was translated by real men of God. There is nothing more important in this world than your everlasting soul. Feed it with the pure word of God.
There’s some very good IFB documentaries on all this.
Hi Isabelle. I think that the ref to freemasonry was crafted to turn people away from the King James. Have you ever read the “prologue” or THE EPISTLE DEDICATORY in the front of the King James Bible? That would set minds at ease, as He exposes “Popish persons”. Here’s the main part that really explains. …So that if on the one side, we shall be traduced by Popish Persons at home or abroad, who therefore will malign us, because we are poor instruments to make God’s holy Truth to be yet more and more known unto the people, whom they desire still to keep in ignorance and darkness; or if, on the other side, we shall be maligned by self-conceited Brethren, who run their own ways, and give liking unto nothing, but what is framed by themselves, and hammered on their anvil; we may rest secure, supported within by the truth and innocency of a good conscience, having walked the ways of simplicity and integrity, as before the Lord; and sustained without by the powerful protection of Your Majesty’s grace and favor, which will ever give countenance to honest and christian endeavours against bitter censures and uncharitable imputations. (I love how he explained many “christians”…. as self conceited Brethren.) I was also taken to a scripture to explain…”I was almost in the presence of all evil in MIDST of the congregation.” That was way back then…imagine now! Yes, we are a peculiar people alright. Praise God! from whom all blessings flow! Jesus said, The world will hate you, as it hated me. I guess I’m a “simpleton”, as my Sister called me, for not wanting to learn her newfound forbidden wisdom from other occult sources.
Thank you Hugo. Your video is God answering my prayers. You helped me understand how he used King James to spread his word. I must admit I was concerned when I heard King James’ affiliation to Freemasonry.
I like the 1611 KJV. Rarely I need a dictionary for an obscure word, but then I learn more English!
Personally I would rather read a 1560 Geneva Bible. But the “Ye Olde English” is harder to read. I read whatever bible is at hand. Unless I am looking for scripture with specific wording I remember, but cannot remember the verse. Then I need to use the KJV usually. Ha-ha!
