I am so fed up with people talking about the Bible in negative terms, if you don’t believe it fairy enough but don’t say it’s a fairytale, most people that do this have no knowledge of the Bible at all. If you had done any research on it chances are you would have a different opinion but no, they think it’s fair game to be rude and insulting. Interesting points you make Hugo. Did not all of the Reformers ( Luther, Huss, Wycliffe, Tyndale, Zwingli,Calvin etc etc) recognise the Papacy as the Beast of the Book of Revelation. Many prophecies are multi-faceted and cover more than one event/series of events.
Remember the old adages: History repeats, and there is nothing new under the sun.
In the context of the ‘beast system’, some think it has happened before, and is currently happening.
(1) The catholic church barred people from trading that wouldn’t accept their ‘mark’, and tie this with the pope’s official title, “servus servorum Dei,” which is 18 letters…..6, 6, 6.

I only know that this world is rapidly morphing into the place described in the Bible. I wake up now, and wonder what has taken place whilst I was asleep and what will happen during the day. I say over and over again, that I can’t believe these things are actually happening, now, today. As a child, I would sit and listen to my dad talk about the beast and the end times, never thinking that I would actually see these things come to pass in my lifetime. But now I look back at all the films that I’ve watched, and so many of them were actually portraying exactly what was going to happen. It’s been planned for so long, and now it’s all being executed out right under our noses. Hollywood etc has brainwashed us ready for the kill. And we actually paid them to do this to us. We climbed into the pot, peeled the vegetables, chopped up the onions, and then seasoned ourselves with the salt and pepper. I don’t believe we’re to try and stop it happening, because God is going to bring this world to an end and deal with sin, but we need to worn everyone that God is getting ready to pour out His wrath on a Christ rejecting world, He is crying out that He wants everyone that WILL, to be saved. Noone is shut out, whilst ever the door is open.

We’ll be forced underground like the genuine Catholics in China have and maybe even keep the Faith for a while with ne’er a priest nor a Sacrament like Japanese Catholics were forced to do for over 200 years. But, we have the Faith, the Bible, the Catechism, the Rosary and the intercession of the Communion of Saints.
I would never denigrate Protestants who truly believe in and worship Our Lord and strive to obey the Commandments, and who grieve over the things that offend Almighty God, so I feel sad and upset when they denigrate us, but see it as a lack of knowledge and understanding plus they’ve been taught so much misinformation about us AND now so many of our clergy, and even the man occupying the Throne of Peter seem to be teaching a faith that is not only not Catholic Christianity, but not anything I recognise at all! Some people think they will go to heaven because, in their estimation, they are good people. Yet Psalm 14:3 says, “They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one” (NKJV). We have all sinned (Romans 3:23). As Jesus said, “No one is good—except God alone” (Luke 18:19).
When the Bible says that “there is none who does good,” it doesn’t mean that people are as bad as they can be or that people are morally incapable of doing anything right. People are capable of doing good things. They can be kind or thoughtful, give generous gifts, and care for the disadvantaged. Even an atheist can be a philanthropist. However, no amount of “good deeds” can change the fact that all people are sinful by nature. Psalm 14:2–3 explains: “The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.” Only God is good all the time and in all things (1 Chronicles 16:34; Psalm 25:8; Mark 10:18), and He declares that all people are sinful. “Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins” (Ecclesiastes 7:20). No one is naturally inclined to do what is good or to seek after God.
Paul affirms that Jews and Gentiles alike are under the power of sin (Romans 3:9). He quotes Psalm 14:3 in Romans 3:12: “There is none who does good, no, not one” (NKJV). All people are in need of God’s salvation; the unsaved will pay the consequence for their sin, which is death (Romans 6:23).
Salvation is not based on a person’s goodness; if it were, no one would be saved, since there is none who does good. The Bible teaches that we can never be good enough to get to heaven (see Matthew 5:20; Titus 3:5). We must recognize that we are sinners who fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). Fortunately, God made a way for us to be forgiven of our sin and be saved through Jesus Christ. Salvation is based on Jesus’ goodness, and “in him is no sin” (1 John 3:5). While we were in our sinful state, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8), and if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is none who does good is a universal indictment of mankind. No one lives up to God’s standard of righteousness; everyone lives in a state of depravity. Everyone has turned from God and His rule, from truth into error, from rightness into sin, and from wisdom into foolishness. While people can do good things, none of their good deeds are inherently good, untinged or unaffected by sin, and none of those good deeds are good enough to undo the penalty of sin. I only know that this world is rapidly morphing into the place described in the Bible. I wake up now, and wonder what has taken place whilst I was asleep and what will happen during the day. Some people think they will go to heaven because, in their estimation, they are good people. However, no amount of “good deeds” can change the fact that all people are sinful by nature. Nothing in Scripture says the harlot is “Spiritual Edom”. THE VATICAN “rules over the kings of the earth” (Rev 17:8), INCLUDING the US and ISRAEL. And the beast isn’t going to destroy HIS OWN city (Jerusalem).

Just wanted to point out that it’s Thou shalt not murder.
The word kill is often mistakenly used. Murder and kill may have the same end result but the circumstances are completely different.
Murder is forbidden.
Killing to protect you and yours or the vulnerable is not forbidden.
It is basically still a fight between good and evil. Since 1 John 5:19 tells us that the enemy is ruling this world, non believers are indoctrinated to the enemy’s lies and have a hard time seeing the truth through all the lies. The enemy will always slander his opponent and make you believe him instead of God.
