Jesus said in the Bible – when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place . . then those in Judea must flee to the mountains”.

The question then becomes, when, after Jesus’ day, was the abomination of desolation prophecy fulfilled? The preterist view is that Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24:15 concerned events leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. In this view, the abomination of desolation occurred during the Roman occupation of Jerusalem when the Roman army brought their heathen images and standards into the temple courts, and a cult which required people to worship him.
There was a bit of leniency for the Jewish people. Nero didn’t require them to offer sacrifices to him so long as they offered sacrifices on behalf of him. Hugo, I am curious about your take on Lara Logan. I find her to be genuine and I feel like MSM really tries to censor her and make her out to be nutty.
She talks alot about what I feel is genuinely happening in the world. They make her out to be a Qanon but I can’t recall her mentioning that Trump is still President and JFK Jr is alive and those sorts of claims.

Hugo, a lot of the symbols in Revelation can be found in Exodus, similar to the judgements GOD brought on Egypt. The frog was worshipped in ancient Egypt. They believed it was a symbol of fertility, water and renewal. If the writer, John is alluding to these symbols is it feasible that the frogs (fertility, water and renewal) are symbolic of the green agenda/great reset issuing forth from the dragon (prince of the power of the air/satellites/radio waves, etc) that are in turn spewed forth by the dragon, the beast and the false prophet? All kings of the earth will ultimately rally around this agenda paving the way for the new world order, the new religion and the arrival of antichrist.
On a side note, lots of people are looking to identify the antichrist, but I think we’ve got it back to front. GOD said in the book of Malachi that He would send Elijah before His Servant the Messiah. Those of us who are Christians believe John the baptist was he who was sent in the spirit of Elijah. The Jewish people (mostly,) reject Jesus as the Messiah, and are waiting for Elijah to herald Messiahs’ imminent arrival.
Maybe we should be looking out for the false Elijah to herald the antichrist’s appearance?

There are many anti Christ’s past and present, the word means ‘against Yeshua/Jesus’ and judging by what I see and hear each day, that’s about 3/4 of the world! If you are talking about the one who causes the abomination of desolation well …
Jesus said in the Bible – when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place . . then those in Judea must flee to the mountains”.
An abomination is “something that causes disgust or hatred”; and desolation is “a state of complete emptiness or destruction.” Jesus warned that something/someone that people detested would stand in the temple someday in THEIR GENERATION.
Daniel’s prophecies about the abomination of desolation seemed to have at least a partial fulfillment in 167 BC when a Greek ruler by the name of Antiochus IV desecrated the temple in Jerusalem. Antiochus called himself “Epiphanies” (“illustrious one” or “god manifest”). He set up an altar to Zeus over the altar of burnt offering, and he sacrificed a pig on the altar. Antiochus went even further in his atrocities, slaughtering a great number of the Jews and selling others into slavery. And he issued decrees forbidding circumcision and requiring Jews to sacrifice to pagan gods and eat pig meat.
The question then becomes, when, after Jesus’ day, was the abomination of desolation prophecy fulfilled? The preterist view is that Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24:15 concerned events leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. In this view, the abomination of desolation occurred during the Roman occupation of Jerusalem when the Roman army brought their heathen images and standards into the temple courts, and a cult which required people to worship him.
