Nobody in this country should be hungry. Some supermarkets donate lots of food to charities that distribute them among homeless charities, day centres, etc. Not sure if Iceland belongs/donate to any of those charities. In the South we have Fair Share charity collecting from supermarkets and distributing to various groups. There are also food banks everywhere. We just need to be more observant of the needs around us and help where we can. There should not be the need to get loans for food!!
