Quite right Hugo, terrible waste of money that could be put to better use.
We will not be celebrating. We had our friends round for a NON jubilee tea, .toasted tea cakes!
Totally agree with you Shirley. I’m totally sick of the royals too, and I really hate the way the media try to ram them down our throats at every opportunity. When old lizzie the lizard passes away, the monarchy should be completely abolished. Far too many hangers on, and all they do is pout and pose in designer clothes for the cameras!! Total waste of money all of them. I would have respect for the royals if they were seen helping at a food bank, holding the hands of the dying in a hospice, feeding the homeless, generally doing good work caring for those less fortunate than themselves. But instead all they do is ponce around in designer clothes waving and smiling at the public, expecting everyone to bow down and worship them like idols which is absolutely disgusting! I will be going to church on Sunday morning, as I will be playing piano for our band, and the organ, and I want to worship and see my dear friends. But I absolutely despise the royals, and that will never change.
Good comments although rather than helping at food banks they should pull the country out of recession with all their billions , lizard swore in her oath ( that she signed at the top instead of the bottom ) she would serve and protect the population , her oath is actually non contractual because of the top of the page signature.
It doesn’t matter what century we live in
to the monarchy we will always just be ‘peasants’ as far as they see it.
Even, still ruling countries they had no authority over,
never did from the beginning.
Taken against their will.

Thank you so very much my dear Janie for your lovely message. I’m recovering well thanks, making gradual but good progress, and it sure is wonderful to be able to get back to church with my dear friends, playing the piano with my music group and playing the organ again after such a long time away!!! The only way is up!!! I have so many people to thank, so I will be giving a little thank you speech on 3rd July at our morning service. Needless to say, there were loads of hugs and tears yesterday morning after the service!! Thank you also for your lovely compliment about me helping in the food bank. It really is a total joy and privilege for me to be working there. The great thing is that I’m starting to make more new friends both on the team and with those families who we are helping which is fantastic!! I’m looking forward to helping with cooking lunches with the catering team, even if I’m just chopping and peeling vegetables!! It would be a wonderful way of spending a Saturday morning!! I helped with a lunch we hosted last week, and helped to serve food and also played the piano to everyone while they were having their meal. It was so lovely!! The following day I helped in their cafe serving cakes to the families. Definitely something I look forward to doing again soon! I feel that this is a wonderful way of reaching out and sharing God’s love with people who are really struggling, and as I’m a housewife, it’s a great way of spending my time after doing my housework, and I get out of the house for most of the day which is lovely. Here’s to doing loads more! You take care now my lovely. Lots of love, Carolyn Xxx

So I find all sorts to listen to you know
I always wanted play piano but it was one instrument I just couldn’t master unfortunately, my Nan used to play jazz & rock n roll on piano
