We were visited by a couple yesterday from Warma UK. They were pushing ‘Free’ solar panels. I am unable to trust ANYTHING that involves HM Government, after the last two years. I said I would look into it, and it seems we have to have a smart meter for this setup. I do not have one and don’t want it but someone told me yesterday to take a photo of your normal meter reading on 1st April when prices are going to rocket as otherwise if they haven’t read your meter they might charge you for units which were still at the old rate. My meter has not been read for ages so how will they know what the reading is when the price goes up? Best to take a photo with something with the date on to prove when you took the photo, like a newspaper. I don’t buy papers so will borrow my neighbours. It is quite worrying. Out to get us every way they can!
