Even before the Convid hoax small seaside towns in England have been struggling with bank and ATM closures, the agenda is clear.
All across Europe in rural areas the small branches of mainstream banks are being closed. (Make GOOD secure houses to resist the narrative)
I was told no cash available as disease could spread on the notes but I insisted wanted decent amount out to open new account in a sustainable bank so 24hrs on was provided a stack of brand new notes.
This local bank has now closed including cash machine (become a Regional Tourist Office) but should one wish to deposit/withdraw cash then possible to do this at the two local food shops which is a good alternative.
Traveller friends said are going to find business life difficult in future as most use cash and officials are turning the screws both on this and with new overnight parking laws.
We don’t go out much at all but the last pub we went into in August didn’t say a word to us about jab passports! We were served, paid cash and the landlord had a nice chat with us! Mind you, in one of the village pubs, my husband’s cousin was asked for proof of jabbing so he just walked out!
I think it’s sort of a thing with Irish people to appear to be towing the line on the surface but with many of them, that’s all it is. Underneath, they just carry on doing what they want! It really is just a matter of what you can get away with! I definitely feel more free here than I did in England, despite everything! No one around here rats on their neighbours for instance. Credit Unions don’t charge you either, plus their loans are really much, much cheaper than bank loans! AIB are one of the banks the Irish taxpayers were forced to bail out after the 2008 economic crash. They are a shower of absolute b£$%^*s!

I’m one of the people involved with the restaurant you mentioned, it isn’t the only business to resist, there’s another one now in Dundalk.
But we can still ask why is there only two restaurants publicity resisting? Personally I think because it takes a lot of guts to stand up to the regulations, it is not only the government you are defying, but the locals and customers who believe you are putting their communities lives at risk.

Yeah, I agree (who am I to argue 😀 ), but to paraphrase the Bible wo/man can’t live on carrots alone 😀 And the thing with narrow-boats is that you need a tonne of cash to maintain that lifestyle; you have to maintain a depreciating asset, pay for fuel, mooring fees, electricity, waste disposal etc. I would love to own* a narrow-boat, and it one of the first things I would do if I came into a shedload of cash, but to suggest that we all rush out and buy a narrow-boat to defeat the Globalist ™ © ® New World Order ® © ™ agenda is unrealistic 😀 The only people I know who own narrowboats are filthy rich, usually retired, own other property (presumably in case it becomes too cold in the winter on the narrow-boat), but yes, it is a fun and enjoyable hobby if you can afford it 😀

The move by AIB bank may be an experiment but I see AIB as part of the cabal that want you T&T’d etc as Hugo says. I also think they are actively trying to wipe out all independent busisnesses in this town.
Even before the Convid hoax small seaside towns in England have been struggling with bank and ATM closures, the agenda is clear.
All across Europe in rural areas the small branches of mainstream banks are being closed. (Make GOOD secure houses to resist the narrative)
I was told no cash available as disease could spread on the notes but I insisted wanted decent amount out to open new account in a sustainable bank so 24hrs on was provided a stack of brand new notes.
This local bank has now closed including cash machine (become a Regional Tourist Office) but should one wish to deposit/withdraw cash then possible to do this at the two local food shops which is a good alternative.
Traveller friends said are going to find business life difficult in future as most use cash and officials are turning the screws both on this and with new overnight parking laws.
We don’t go out much at all but the last pub we went into in August didn’t say a word to us about jab passports! We were served, paid cash and the landlord had a nice chat with us! Mind you, in one of the village pubs, my husband’s cousin was asked for proof of jabbing so he just walked out!
I think it’s sort of a thing with Irish people to appear to be towing the line on the surface but with many of them, that’s all it is. Underneath, they just carry on doing what they want! It really is just a matter of what you can get away with! I definitely feel more free here than I did in England, despite everything! No one around here rats on their neighbours for instance. A couple of times my neighbours have done things that really annoyed me and I could have ratted on them but chose not to and I’m glad I didn’t! Perhaps it’s from the Centuries of hostile occupation? Just sayin’!
Cash is king round our area too, from all the villages around to the nearest town. I feel for the Rathkeale people. Not only are they taken over by antisocial Travellers every Winter who cause absolute mayhem, they now are being picked on for an experiment in digital currency which won’t sit well with them at all. Surely they have a Credit Union though? Many Credit Unions now offer Current Accounts which you can pay your Direct Debits from and everything a bank does! Credit Unions don’t charge you either, plus their loans are really much, much cheaper than bank loans! AIB are one of the banks the Irish taxpayers were forced to bail out after the 2008 economic crash. They are a shower of absolute b£$%^*s!

It boggles me too Janie! On the side of a bus round here there’s an advert saying “Kids have strokes too. Know the warning signs.” There surely will be more strokes in youngsters, because of the jabs and they know it! The BBC put out features on “sudden adult death syndrome” and heart problems in youngsters too, to make out it’s quite common. Well, it will be because of the jabs! They’re priming us for the awful results of these injections! We’re already somewhat desensitized to footballers dropping like flies now, nothing to see here, never any connection to a jab they just had, this IS the new normal!

I have to admit that I have been paying cashless most of the time since February 2020. Before February of 2020, I almost completely paid in cash, just because of the better oversight of how much I was spending. I am mostly paying cashless now because I don’t want to run to the bank and unnecessarily wait in line with people who might be infected with Covid, (I try to avoid crowded areas as much as I can) but I feel that you are right on this one. I will have to rethink what I have been doing for the past year and a half and start paying with cash money again.

I’m one of the people involved with the restaurant you mentioned, it isn’t the only business to resist, there’s another one now in Dundalk.
But we can still ask why is there only two restaurants publicity resisting? Personally I think because it takes a lot of guts to stand up to the regulations, it is not only the government you are defying, but the locals and customers who believe you are putting their communities lives at risk.
There are restaurants owners who are opposed to the discriminatory and coercive regulations who don’t have the mental or emotional resources to publicly defy the government and conditioned public opinion. They choose instead to keep their doors closed and only serve takeaway or only serve outdoor seating. Taking a blow to their profits.
There’s two businesses now, hopefully more will realize this is the only way forward. Non compliance. The government isn’t going to back down. As a united force we are stronger.
But I’m the same as you, I’m always on the look out for controlled opposition. And yes it exists.
Oh! My like-minded friend, I hope you succeed in staying open and bring other, less brave , owners with you.
