Not crap at all – we all try and make sense of it. With a bit of luck the solar flares will only affect the corrupt elite. Well, we can but wish! As for the sun thing, well if it happens, then it happens. No use worrying about something natural that may or may not happen. Got other things to worry about! I told my mum to stock up on tinned food because of the shortage of HGV drivers and food would likely be affected. She said ooh thank you, I will. I just can’t say the Nazicommies are likely to start the food shortage – if I do then I’m crazy. There is no getting through to them so a more subtle approach needed. We have an issue with storage space at the moment, but in one room there is a huge mirror wardrobe where I have my sewing stuff (I quilt) and as it seemed to belong to a giant, there is wasted space that could have shelves. Husband thought that was a good idea. We do a lot of preserving anyway and have a vacuum sealer, so things like rice (not brown – it is too oily) will be packaged in smaller quantities – oh dear plastic – so if any air does get in, then that will be the first to be used. Tinned stuff I’m gradually building up on. Not there by a long shot. Water is one of the important ones. Boil water to purify it. We get bottled water because the stuff in our taps is vile and it makes my husband’s mouth tingle! Goodness knows what is in it! Watch for use by dates too – those dated 2023 and longer are good, just keep topping up.
All the best and lets hope it doesn’t come to that, but knowing this lot I wouldn’t be surprised – better to be prepared!

I told my mum to stock up on tinned food because of the shortage of HGV drivers and food would likely be affected. She said ooh thank you, I will. We have an issue with storage space at the moment, but in one room there is a huge mirror wardrobe where I have my sewing stuff (I quilt) and as it seemed to belong to a giant, there is wasted space that could have shelves. Husband thought that was a good idea. We do a lot of preserving anyway and have a vacuum sealer, so things like rice (not brown – it is too oily) will be packaged in smaller quantities – oh dear plastic – so if any air does get in, then that will be the first to be used. Tinned stuff I’m gradually building up on. Not there by a long shot. Water is one of the important ones. Boil water to purify it. We get bottled water because the stuff in our taps is vile and it makes my husband’s mouth tingle! Goodness knows what is in it! Watch for use by dates too – those dated 2023 and longer are good, just keep topping up.
