My Android phone has an option to turn emergency alerts off. Have a dig through your settings if you have one. Also go to settings, then about phone and tap the build number several times which will open up a new developer menu. Look through that, too and see if there’s any way of disabling things you don’t need.
Some phones have an (obscure) option to disable ‘broadcast messages’ i.e. ones sent to every phone like your network operator or Boris would do 🙂 I don’t think it is really applicable to the UK. In any case they would have to be ‘flagged’ as such. And I very much doubt if it would prevent these ‘Presidential Alerts’ or Boris’s incessant ‘You MUST Stay Home’ messages from getting through 😀

Twice recently I have switched on my knackered 2016 android phone and had to wait whilst it uploads a new app or is optimising new app. These new “apps” are not in apps listing or any other other setting I have looked at so they are hidden somewhere. (I am not a tech expert, by the way)
I also received the emergency alerts upload last week as soon as I switched on but when I clicked on “Ok”, it took me to a list of scary sounding alert situations and with the usual option to switch each off individually, which I promptly did.
They’ll have problems sending the bullshit emergency test siren crap to my ancient samsung pay-as-you-go phone. So, just don’t give them the chance of controlling your life: ditch your (not so) smart phone.
I have an android phone which I rarely use for the internet and never use any apps. Looks like it’s time to ditch it and get a basic Doro, Nokia or whatever.

Apple is now forcing COVID ALERTS on all iPhones as well. It states it will notify you when you encountered “hot spots” and the like. They are forcing the passports onto the phones, you will have no choice if you own these devices.

Read The New Testament get to know the word of God, keep it in your heart, take heed to it, live it out in your lives. (Bibles will eventually be banned or changed). Be able to discern from good and evil, because in this world for a time everything will be turned upside down, do not allow yourselves to be deceived! Prepare yourselves practically as well stock up on food and water, on medical supplies, do it while you still can, while supplies are still available and while you can still afford them! Hyper inflation is also prophesied in The Bible.
You speak sense but i just had to comment that there will be no rapture. We are here for the ride. The only thing that could be deemed to resemble a rapture is when the saints are raised in the 1st resurrection upon Christs return. The idea that Christians will be whisked away into the sky when things start going south is a deception. If you doubt what i’m saying, then consider this…….Did God take Lot up into the sky before he destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah? No. he told him to move. Did he rapture Noah before the flood? No, he told him to build a boat and sit it out. The same will be for any Christians not slaughtered by the anti-christ. Given a place of safety but not raptured to safety.

He will return after the tribulation for a thousand years bringing the bride to reign with Him. . Two will be sleeping in a bed and one will be taken, two working in a field etc. And the church is not appointed to God’s wrath.
Whatever we believe we must keep our eyes on Jesus. He left us His peace. And we will need it!!!!!

But the truth is unless you have Jesus and His Holy spirit in you, you will not be able to discern between he goodies or the baddies. The anti christ will appear to be a saviour and once he has power and your allegiance he will show his true colours. It will be too late if you take the mark. Well if I have my android smartphone on silent I won’t hear the stupid alarm. As for internet shutdown I’ve wondered for a while if it could be possible. It probably is as somehow it got started so there must be an off switch so to speak.

There are a few computers in the USA which hold the DNS location, switch those off and you’ll have to remember the IP addresses to access site, so there is an off switch, or they could just restrict any sites they like.
There are loads of DNS servers out there to choose from – more than you can shake a stick at 😀
It works on silent and even when phone is switched off. You can’t disable it!!!

Flight mode is well handy! But ultimately, like the computers, they’ll take control of the phones – can’t have people communicating with each other and working things out!!
My Android phone has an option to turn emergency alerts off. Have a dig through your settings if you have one. Also go to settings, then about phone and tap the build number several times which will open up a new developer menu. Look through that, too and see if there’s any way of disabling things you don’t need.

Some phones have an (obscure) option to disable ‘broadcast messages’ i.e. ones sent to every phone like your network operator or Boris would do 🙂 I don’t think it is really applicable to the UK. In any case they would have to be ‘flagged’ as such. And I very much doubt if it would prevent these ‘Presidential Alerts’ or Boris’s incessant ‘You MUST Stay Home’ messages from getting through 😀

Twice recently I have switched on my knackered 2016 android phone and had to wait whilst it uploads a new app or is optimising new app. These new “apps” are not in apps listing or any other other setting I have looked at so they are hidden somewhere. (I am not a tech expert, by the way)
I also received the emergency alerts upload last week as soon as I switched on but when I clicked on “Ok”, it took me to a list of scary sounding alert situations and with the usual option to switch each off individually, which I promptly did.
