Mark, you make an interesting proposition. But may I ask some simple questions to make sense of what you suggest and to form a clear picture in my mind? How do we account for the horizon? When I have flown at 50,000 feet+ , for some strange reason this has only occurred on budget airline Ryanair, I have become convinced that I can see the curvature of the Earth. Where are the ‘endpoints’ on the ‘flat earth’? How far can I go without falling off into deep space? What holds the water in the ocean in place? Are there giant dams at the endpoints prevent the water flowing off, like a giant swimming pool? When I gaze into space I form the opinion that the planets are of a spherical nature. Is the Moon flat also? Please forgive me for positing these questions, I am a prisoner of my own simple mind and lack of intelligence.
I have another question. If I travelled from one point on the Earth and maintained the direction ignoring my compass would I loop back around? For example would it be possible to travel from the ‘top’ of the Earth i.e. the North Pole and by maintaining a fixed direction ignoring compass readings would I loop back round to the North Pole? Or would I reach the end of the flat Earth, find it impossible to proceed and have to turn back? On that thought, how does international flight travel work, do planes ever reach the endpoints or so they fly off into deep space? As you can see, your comment has got me thinking very much.

It is indeed bizarre to think that we are on a rotating ball rotating at 1000mph and circling the Sun at 66,000 mph. It is also bizarre to think that we are tilted at 23.5 degrees. But then again our empirical observations back this up. We can observe the planets moving across the sky (the ecliptic), we can observe a planet is in front or behind the Sun as viewed from Earth (conjunction) and when a planet is opposite the Earth from the Sun (opposition). We can observe the tilt of the Earth as it moves from 0 degrees to 23.5 degrees above the horizon bringing us the seasons. We can observe the phases of the Moon. We can observe the libration (wobble of the Moon). And although the Earth is spinning we are in the same ‘frame of reference’ so we don’t notice. It is all ‘relative’ as Einstein would say. All of the above is observable with your own eyes (or with the aid of a telescope) and backs up the spinning/rotating ball theory. Conversely, a ‘flat Earth’ theory would fail on all counts.

I went to the beach and the carpark lady said they’d changed their policy and it was only card payments now (sedgemoor district council) Apparently a company can just change its rules for which ways they can be paid. I said I only had cash and she pointed me down the road to another part of the beach that does accept cash so I turned the car round and went there. She shouted after me that ‘its the way of the world, not many places accept cash anymore you know, its all card’….its really not. I have managed to avoid using my card in shops etc for a good year so its perfectly possible. Only one other time at a local bike shop did I have an argument with a shop owner about his inability to accept cash and that was more because he didnt tell me that until he’d done the work and i was due to pay.
My son also got fed up with the prospect of wearing a mask all day at college and on the long public transport ride home yesterday (a bus followed by a train) so he just took it off and not one person said anything on the transport or at the college all day. Or would I reach the end of the flat Earth, find it impossible to proceed and have to turn back? On that thought, how does international flight travel work, do planes ever reach the endpoints or so they fly off into deep space? As you can see, your comment has got me thinking very much.

It is indeed bizarre to think that we are on a rotating ball rotating at 1000mph and circling the Sun at 66,000 mph. It is also bizarre to think that we are tilted at 23.5 degrees. But then again our empirical observations back this up. We can observe the planets moving across the sky (the ecliptic), we can observe a planet is in front or behind the Sun as viewed from Earth (conjunction) and when a planet is opposite the Earth from the Sun (opposition). We can observe the tilt of the Earth as it moves from 0 degrees to 23.5 degrees above the horizon bringing us the seasons. We can observe the phases of the Moon. We can observe the libration (wobble of the Moon). And although the Earth is spinning we are in the same ‘frame of reference’ so we don’t notice. It is all ‘relative’ as Einstein would say. All of the above is observable with your own eyes (or with the aid of a telescope) and backs up the spinning/rotating ball theory. Conversely, a ‘flat Earth’ theory would fail on all counts.

My husband started to make bio fuel way back when no one could get fuel and cars were off the road. Remember that time? He set up a plant here in Cornwall when we moved in 2002. He took waste oil, and trans esterified it to the German Standard equivalent of the British Kite Mark. The plant was expertly done, very professional, only made 1000 litres per batch, but it could have been scaled up. Defra and Cambourne School of Mines, Exeter University got involved, but only to strip his knowledge, the uni got £350,000 in funding because of his work, and then he was kicked to one side. People from all over the country came, one professor from China. The upshot was my husband’s plant showed that small community set ups could work to serve the local people, and big corps couldn’t have that now could they? They had to devise a way to own the green way forward, and this is what’s happening. Meanwhile my husband’s health suffered as he felt he was pissing into the wind, and what happened after that is another story. I’ve known for a long time what’s been going on.

I’m sticking my head above the parapet and saying – as a Christian, I believe the world is going to end in fire anyway so they CAN’T save the world. We have to be good stewards of what has been given to us, but as for saving it…
In Matthew 24, Jesus Christ prophesies about the last days:
“3 Now as He [Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you [Christians] up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s* sake those days will be shortened.
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect* from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
*the elect are those true Christians who believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 4: 1-5 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Things are going to get worse!
According to Revelation, during the last days there will be conflict, scarcity of food, widespread death on earth, many Christian martyrs, cosmic disturbances, vegetation will be burned up (thinking of the massive fires in California and Australia etc), the waters will be effected and so will the sky. Rising from all this turmoil and calamity will rise the beast – those who don’t worship the beast will be killed (not saying Xi Jinping is THE beast, but in China, anyone who doesn’t hail the communist party as being the ultimate, supreme power in the country is severely persecuted – it will be worse when the one world government is formed and those who will not worship it will be severely persecuted and martyred). The beast is a man – 666! In Judaism (especially) the number of perfection (i.e. God) is 7 so 6 is falling short of 7.
It carries on with loathsome sores, all water turning to blood (this could mean that they will become poisonous and fish etc will die), the earth will be shaken and if the leaders think they can change the climate – they are so mistaken because Revelation says that humanity will be scorched, there will be hail like nobody has seen before! BUT Babylon the Great (the world order) WILL fall and be destroyed.
I see Matthew, 1 and 2 Timothy and Revelation unfolding every day. The question is – are you safe?
The joos are waiting for their “messiah”….

Someone once said religion is the best form of control.
What would you say to that? As most religions follow guidelines written in a book many centuries ago. Some modified during the ages to suit others not so but either way it relates to a fear of something. Usually unquantifiable and unseen but not to say it’s not there.
Just seen Matt Hancock wants to make vaccines mandatory. Apparently the digital currency has been planned for years. They can implement it anytime. Just like vaccine passports. As have they for chip implants and and tattoos.

Totally feel you on the frustration!…and the disappointment in the public. I’ve always tried to see the best in people and seek to understand the worst but this current world situation is making me find all that bloody hard if not impossible.

Hi Hugo, I would urge you to watch James Dellingpoles podcast with Ralph Masilamani, link below! It may well be the answers to all the questions that we’re all looking for at the moment, with the biggest deception to mankind. I don’t agree with all of his ideologies but the vast majority of them certainly ring very true in this current climate. You’re doing a tremendous job and there’s not many people online like yourself fighting the cause. I’m trying my best to awaken people around me and your app works superbly for them. Yes stick to cash please everyone. I agree with Hugo here. I went to the beach and the carpark lady said they’d changed their policy and it was only card payments now (sedgemoor district council) Apparently a company can just change its rules for which ways they can be paid. I said I only had cash and she pointed me down the road to another part of the beach that does accept cash so I turned the car round and went there. She shouted after me that ‘its the way of the world, not many places accept cash anymore you know, its all card’….its really not. I have managed to avoid using my card in shops etc for a good year so its perfectly possible. Only one other time at a local bike shop did I have an argument with a shop owner about his inability to accept cash and that was more because he didnt tell me that until he’d done the work and i was due to pay.
My son also got fed up with the prospect of wearing a mask all day at college and on the long public transport ride home yesterday (a bus followed by a train) so he just took it off and not one person said anything on the transport or at the college all day. I think people are getting tired now of all this mask bullsh*t too.
